Weatherills Hotel

Very much a surprise. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. The meals were great, the setting beautiful with great views. Low key hotel for those looking for a quiet stay on Antigua. No hustle and bustle found in bigger resorts. Will return and recommend to friends.

I visited the property early in March and I was disappointed with my experience. The Food was ok, but I thought slavery was over day to day I would sit and watch the staff at work, first off there are less staff and more work, my room was alway cleaned and fresh, but on most days only 1 room attendant is at work and she have so much responsibility and that is unacceptable. The staff is friendly but I think the property is not manager properly. I will not visit this property again.

Stayed for 1 night prior to boarding a cruise. The property is a beautiful restored plantation house with 7 rooms. The receptionist greeted us by name. Room was immaculately clean and the bed really comfortable with everything you could need. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast which was great. Portion sizes are huge and cocktails really good! Would highly recommend as a base for exploring the island or a short stay.

This hotel is a must do if visiting Antigua. We spent 3 weeks travelling the Island and staying in lots of different types of accommodation. We spent our last 2 nights here and what a fantastic way to go. The hotel is very small, only 7 suites in total, has a small reception, a bar and dining room. It is just stunning. You get the feel that you are in a big old mansion and you are the only people there!! We were greeted and checked in by the Hotel Manager, who was so nice and helpful. We booked a Signature Suite, which is the annex, mainly because these rooms have an outside terrace. Stunning. Lovely, comfortable, huge 4 poster bed, everything in them that you need. Lovely terrace with a table, chairs and a sun lounger. It looks exactly as it does in the photos. The lovely Housekeeper (didnt get her name) looks after the rooms with such pride and she is so very helpful should you need anything. The food and the service at this hotel is second to none. The staff are lovely, all of them, and can't do enough for you without being in your face. The food is outstanding and beautifully presented. You get a Continental Breakfast included in your booking. We thought we would be hungry...NO WAY, the breakfast is huge. I had the cold meat and cheese platter and my husband had the fruit platter, beautifully presented (again) and very fresh. Coupled with the HUGE freshly baked croissant, it sets you up for the day. WE had dinner and lunch at the hotel and both were excellent. We would just like to say a huge thank you to ALL of the staff for making our last 2 nights, just perfect.
