Oporto Serviced Apartments - Cedofeita

Dining room review only. We dined here one evening during our porto visit. Food was average for the price. The main issue we had was the billing. Food was priced on the menu, but subsequently two additional taxes were added in the final tally, putting almost 20€ extra on to the bill. The food price as listed was comparable to other restaurants , and was fair enough value for service and presentation. However, when an extra 20€ is added bringing the bill for 2 people to 144€, I felt this was quite unreasonable.

Apartments are spacious. We had three and had one that had two levels, two twin beds upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs. Full kitchen also. Location within a 12 minute walk to the Belem tower and 20 mins to the Luis bridge over the Duoro River. Very clean and comfortable. Some reviews says needs upgrading but it’s fine and we only were out all day sightseeing so no complaints.

Four of us stayed in a two-bedroom apartment on the top floor. The apartment is in a good location opposite a supermarket. It's modern, clean, airconditioned, has plenty of hot water, and has a nice, well-equipped kitchen. What let it down were the two bathrooms; they look nice, but they are badly designed and lack functionality. The shower has a very narrow shower base with a shower curtain; every time it was used, it flooded the bathroom. We had to have a mop and bucket on hand. The second bathroom has a bath accessed through a narrow archway with a handheld shower over it; again, there is a shower curtain - climbing into the bath was not easy. There are no windows in this bathroom, so good lighting is essential. The light did not work over the bath (a single sunken spotlight), so we had to ask for this to be changed. We were told one would need to be bought, but luckily, this was done on the same day. The plugs did not work in the sink or bath, so as fast as you put water into them, it drained away. We did report this, but nothing was done. You have to request clean towels, we were left with two bath towels per bathroom but only one hand towel. Having read all the positive reviews, we had expected more. On a positive note, the restaurant on the ground floor was very good.

We were visiting Porto for four nights, and as we have a baby, my wife wanted a place with a washing machine, which is how I came upon these wonderful apartments. The location is excellent, literally opposite, as in twenty feet away, from a well stocked supermarket, which was open from 8am, seven days a week (not a given in Portugal). The road is pedestrianised, further down, with plenty of interesting eating options, and local shops, and it is perhaps a twenty minute walk before you are in the centre of the city, with a further twenty minutes before you are at the waterfront. As mentioned above, we were traveling with a baby, and a very comfortable cot was provided for her. Very large comfortable bed, and tasteful contemporary interior decor. Water pressure, heat etc was all spot on, in the showers (we had two in the apartment, but only used one). The kitchen was small, but contained most of the things you'd be likely to need, including a full sized fridge and separate freezer, not a tiny unit, which didn't really take everything you'd want to put in it. Staff extremely considerate and helpful, in every respect. We didn't eat downstairs, but this was in hindsight an error on our part, as the food looked very good, was well priced, and we already knew how good the service was. The only thing that wasn't in the apartment, curiously enough, was a bottle opener and a corkscrew. The restaurant downstairs was happy to help, however. We didn't have a car with us, so couldn't say about the parking. I'd be inclined to go with the accommodation's parking, rather than the street, however, as it felt like there was a lot of competition for street parking.

The apartments are outstanding, tastefully decorated and spacious. High ceilings, huge floor to ceiling windows, modern decor, and beautiful kitchen cabinetry resulted in a feeling of luxury. The restaurant and outdoor courtyard were lovely -- outstanding fine dining and a serene setting for a morning coffee or an afternoon drink. The staff were exceptional -- friendly, professional, and always there to help. The location is ideal, a Pingo Dolce Supermarket right across the street and only a short walk to the old town and the riverfront.

Great apartment and a perfect location. The staff was very friendly and there is a restaurant where you can have lunch and dinner. We also enjoyed the breakfast that they bring to the apartment every morning. Parking is available, fees apply.

We had the loft apartment which has a king size bed and a sofa bed for a family of 4. The loft was clean, modern and spacious. Cons: kitchenette with utensils, plates and pans, microwave and ref Air conditioner/Heater Tv Wifi Garage Parking (10 euros/day) Good location (15 -20 min walk to cathedral) with supermarket in front of the apartment and restaurants around the area Bathroom has heated floors Big closet. Restaurant was very goo. Reception staff were excellent and they speak spanish and english as well. Cons: Cleaning service (10 euros/day) Breakfast (bread, juice, fruit and jam) Definitely would recommend Tight parking entrance No full length mirror

Absolutely beautiful accommodation, clean and well laid out. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. They could not do enough to help us. Property spacious and in a good location. Will definitely stay again if I visit Porto again. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Heerlijk design appartement op loopafstand van het oude centrum. Wij verbleven in een groot appartement met terras dat van alle gemakken voorzien was. Bij aankomst een welkomstdrankje in het naastgelegen BBgourmet1858 waar je ook heerlijk kunt eten. Personeel en service zijn perfect
