Mary Louisa and her family were awesome hosts for orichetti-making lesson followed by a superb 6 course meal prepared by her family and served in an olive grove. Nona Rina is a wise and patient teacher. This is a once in a lifetime experience not to be missed and was coordinated as part of a package tour of southern Italy by Best Rome Driver.

Best stay ever! Extraordinary nature, extreme kindness and delicious breakfast! Came for one night, stayed two, would stay for a week if there was aviability! Pure romance, quietness and beauty. Gone to another masseria, it was nowhere near Trulli Santangelo!

We have spent 9 days here and had the most wonderfully relaxing holiday. Maria Luisa, Daniele and all the staff were so attentive and friendly towards us. The trullo was a delight and very cool in the hot weather - we didn’t need the air conditioning (May 23), the food cooked fresh on site was spectacular - a really authentic Italian dining experience. The trullo is family owned and the family are respectful of privacy but at the same time on hand to cater for needs. Our children (14&12) loved it and loved the pool area. We felt like we found a new home away. I don’t think I remember hugging the hosts of any place I have stayed before. Truly lovely. Thank you to all - we will be back. Nina - England

A blissful 4 nights here at Trullo Santangelo. Wonderful rooms and pool area, and great to have use of the outdoor kitchen area with a fridge for each room. We had a lovely set meal one evening and the breakfasts are lovely and fresh. There are not many places in the world I would love to return to, but this is definitely one of them, as also a great location for trips to Lecce (we did a walking food tour there) and places like Alberobello and Martina Franca. Thank you Maria Luisa - we all loved it!

Wonderful property 1.5 km outside of town. Trulli are modern and comfortable inside with great beds and modern walk in shower. Hosts were super friendly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and other activities. Central location to visit surrounding towns such as Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Alberobello, Ostuni, etc. Too bad it was early March as trees and flowers not yet in bloom and pool too cold, but we still enjoyed our stay.

We loved everything about our stay at Trullo Santangelo. Daniele and Maria Luisa were the perfect hosts. It felt like we were visiting good friends whose goal was to ensure we had an amazing and authentic experience. The breakfasts were to die for and I still dream of the dinner at Trullo. It was by far the best meal of our trip in a beautiful setting. The rooms were a perfect combination of cozy and cool and the pool setting made it easy to relax. We hope to be back soon!

We had a great time staying at Trullo Santangelo and Luisa was the most incredible host. The accommodation was beautiful and we loved the breakfast. The decor is very cute and we loved all the little details including the embroidered table cloths. The pool could have done with a little clean but apart from that we loved every bit of our stay.

Un luogo magico dove respirare la cura e l’attenzione della proprietaria..la vera valle d’Itria tra ulivi, trulli e i risvegli lenti. Devi amare i cani e i gatti che ti accolgono per il check in Maria Luisa la proprietaria con dolcezza e accoglienza ha permesso alla mia mamma di soffiare la sua candelina per i suoi 60 anni anticipando anche la nostra colazione in serra! Ottima accoglienza dei giovani proprietari e del personale. Bellissimo ambiente immerso nell'uliveto dell'azienda. Colazione all'aperto all'ombra di un ulivo centenario. È stato bellissimo pernottare nel trullo, per noi una meravigliosa sorpresa. In ultimo, prima di ripartire, abbiamo usufruito della piscina per qualche ora di relax totale.
