Gwesty Gadlys Hotel

We had an absolutely brilliant short stay at this hotel. The views are stunning, and it’s just a short walk across the fields into the village. The room was comfortable, spacious, and incredibly quiet. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good and the service exceptional. Definitely want to go back to.

A delightful hotel, well situated for walking or touring around the area. Excellent food and service, with well trained, friendly and efficient staff. The rooms were well furnished, comfortable and nicely decorated. We really could not fault this hotel with its glorious views across the bay.

Really lovely hotel in an idyllic setting with stunning sunsets. We were lucky with the weather and think we saw the area at its best. We had room 3, really nice with very comfy bed. My only niggle is that like a lot of hotels there isn't a plug beside the dressing table or lighting for that mirror so it's a bit of a stretch with the hairdryer. Staff are delightful. Any noise from reception really travels up the stairs but this is an old building so can't be helped. Instant decaf coffee at breakfast was a disappointment but I would definitely stay again. Top tip there is an automated milk shake station at the bottom of the lane, enjoy.

Ordered a light nite lunch sausages mash and gravy. Price on menu £6.95. 5 mins later the waiter comes over and tells us it’s another £1.95 as the menu is wrong!!! Okay we go with it. Food is delivered and it tastes okay but there is hardly any gravy with it. I call the waiter and ask politely for more gravy. He comes back and tells me the chef and owner have said I will need to pay £2.95 EXTRA for gravy!!!! How totally outrageous. I will never ever go back to this place even for a drink. These guys don’t deserve to get any customers, what a rip off.

Great hotel, very friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable and very clean bedroom with a sea view. Good choice on the menu for evening meals. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order. Edwin,was very helpful and attentive. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

I would highly recommend this lovely hotel. We stayed for an impromptu birthday weekend in one of the family rooms. The room was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. We decided to book dinner in the Bay View restaurant and were happy we did. The food was very good and the restaurant staff were friendly and highly efficient. A great hotel, nestled in a bay on beautiful Anglesey - perfect.
