Hotel Boutique Cerro del Sol Adults Only Recommended

We had a wonderful 3-night stay, and felt incredibly welcome. Liliana and the whole team could not have been more helpful, booking taxis and restaurants, and setting up breakfast early so that we could eat before heading to the Alhambra. Our room was spacious and comfortable. It was easy to take the bus (or a taxi) to and from the city centre. For us, it was worth the trade-off of staying somewhere peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful view of the mountains.

We spent 10 wonderful days here in this beautiful, comfortable small boutique hotel enjoying the views, hiking the hill to the village, relaxing, and lots of sightseeing. Grenada and the Ahambra are easy to reach with a sh a bus that stops near the hotel. Other nearby attractions require a car or getting a tour. The family run hotel is newly and tastefully refurbished in 2022, and the food and staff are great. No negatives!

The hosts/ staff are friendly and provided expert advice on where best to eat and visit. We were never disappointed with any of the suggestions which we had the opportunity to follow up on. We stayed for 7 days and breakfasted every day at the hotel. There was ample food to choose from. Always preferring to eat on the terrace and savour the fantastic view of the mountains. We ate lunch/ dinner at the hotel 3 times and the food was delicious. There are many places to eat within walking distance of the hotel and during a late evening stroll you will have the opportunity of seeing and hearing the local, nocturnal wildlife. The hotel is on a hill and the path to it is a little steep but it was satisfying knowing that we'd worked off a few of the calories that we had consumed during the day. Alternatively, hire a car as there is free parking at the hotel. We chose to have a car for only a few days so that we could drive to the seaside just a 30/ 40 minute ride away. We visited Granada a few times via bus - a short ride from the hotel and the bus stop is conveniently located at the bottom of the hill that the hotel stands on. Our trip to Alhambra was unforgettable. I recommend joining a guided tour of the site. The facilities are great: pool & outside shower, rainfall shower in the bathroom and a comfortable bed. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Boutique Cerro Del Sol. It was a glorious holiday.

I stayed with the kids in this boutique hotel for a few days in Granada. We didn’t want to stay in the city center, but rather in a more quiet place. Staff told us that they just re opened and changed ownership. The hotel was fantastic, extremely big rooms, new mattresses, pillows, the details… breakfast was included and, although continental buffet was delicious. Plus, it is pet friendly so we didn’t have to leave Charlie at a pet hotel as she could stay with us. The best of the hotel is the view, from the rooms, the dining and even the stairs. The dining/ cafe is great and has a chimney that was lighted every day. We just fall in love with this hotel and for sure we will come back!!!!!!!

A hidden gem in Granada, a beautiful hotel with a stunning views of the mountains. Kind and attentive staff served fresh home cooked Spanish cuisine. Comfortable clean rooms. A great little escape in the heart of Spain.

We both loved this little hotel. It was very peaceful and felt as thou we were in the mountains rather than 10mins from the city and Alhambra. Fabulous views from our balcony, the restaurant and patio. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was included with plenty of choice. The staff were great, friendly and very informative regarding places/attractions to visit and good nearby restaurants. They really made us feel welcomed and valued.
