Rustic farm house located on a working cattle farm. Home features two porches with seasonal views of Mt. Nebo and Petit Jean Mountain, breakfast nook, kitchen, dining area, large living room with two comfortable sofas and large flat screen smart television, two bedrooms with queen size beds, one full bath, and laundry room. Their is ample room for a boat trailer in the parking area. Large oaks and other shade trees provide a cooler lawn space for relaxing and playing lawn games. In addition to the porches and lawn area, there is also a fire pit with seating for four. Home is located a short distance from Petit Jean and Mt. Nebo State Parks as well as the Centerville race tracks. Nearby Lake Dardanelle is an excellent fishing and recreation lake. Petit Jean Wildlife Management Area is minutes away and features public hunting and fishing. Short Getaway Close To Home My wife and I and our best friends and fellow couple were looking for a centrally located home to stage State Park adventures and area lake fishing trips in a country setting. I must say this place did not disappoint. We visited four State parks and obtain all four stamps in our Arkansas State Parks passport booklets. The parks we visited were Petit Jean State Park, Mount Nebo State Park, Mount Magazine State Park and Lake Dardanelle State. All are must sees. We fished both Lake Atkins and Lake Brewer near Morrilton. This cottage is located on a working cattle farm and was decorated so cute with a farmhouse theme. It was the perfect size to accommodate two couples. Our host was very hospitable and responsive to any questions or needs we had. We truly loved our stay at the farm cottage and are already planning a return trip in the fall.Highly recommended.

This was a great farm house with plenty of amenities! It was actually better than we expected from the pictures and description! My parents loved it and it's location near Petit Jean Mountain was handy. They also loved the farm fresh eggs and ground beef that was in the fridge upon arrival! Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to relax Really nice property to stay at to relax and do things. We went to the state parks to hike, went to Yell Fest and ate out at a number of places. We grilled at the house and the host has some of the best cuts of meat and fresh eggs that you can make arrangements to buy. Altogether, a nice place and wonderful people.

Comfortable farm cottage near state parks The cottage is really nice. Very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Check-in was easy and directions were perfect. Great location for visiting the 3 state parks in the area - Petit Jean, Mt Nebo, and Mt Magazine, all of which are awesome. Really appreciated the complimentary eggs and ground beef.

In the country Wonderful older farm home that reminds me of a combination of my parents family homes. Far enough from town to feel somewhat solitary, but close enough to not be inconvenient. A/C was a little questionable, and it took a while to get hot water - but thats an old country home for you. We'll be back.

Adorable Relaxing Cottage This is an adorable cottage only 15 minutes from Petit Jean State Park. We hiked the trails during the day and enjoyed our peaceful night at the cottage. It is by far the cleanest and most charming rental we have ever visited. Thank you for leaving fresh farm eggs and ground beef in the refrigerator.
