被攜程坑得最慘的一次，計劃在搖籃山住，打開訂房頁面第二家就是推薦的這個酒店。臨去前一天家人發現位置離真正搖籃山登山處相距160多公里，而且幾乎全部是山路。於是提前一天多向攜程申請取消，在説明具體原因而且是提前一天多情況下，平台照例回覆無法取消。在無可奈何情況下，抱着試一試的心態走160公里山路去酒店，發現酒店位於中央荒原，最後要走15公里的土石路，一路上沒有任何車輛。終於到酒店，攜程平台上號稱的4星，確實就是周圍幾十公里毫無人煙之地搭的一座木屋。酒店管理員態度惡劣，把客人當犯人；不讓客人吃任何帶來的食物，包括麪包水果；沒有任何網絡信號，申請使用wifi，説不對外開放交錢都不行；周邊一片荒涼，基本上不清楚情況來這裏的客人就是在苦寒之地流放的犯人。這樣的酒店居然被攜程商旅排在知名的搖籃山附近（實際160公里山路之外）酒店的第二位。從整個過程來看，要麼是攜程存心坑人，要麼是攜程下面的運營人員夥同當地代理聯手坑中國遊客，奉勸攜程認真核實真實情況好自為之

This was my second time at the lodge, came up with friends after staying here with my partner last year.it truly is a special place, rooms are spotless, the communal areas are comfortable and spacious. The host Bec is very knowledgeable and very friendly and happy to help you plan to do as much or as little as you please. We went hiking, had a picnic, star gazed and saw some incredible wild life. We also just sat around in our pyjamas and read our books . This is a remote and wild environment but the lodge provides a welcome refuge at the end of a long day meandering the vast network of trails. I can’t wait to get back again, it was truly peaceful and a wonderful place to get away from technology and have recharge from a busy work schedule. Definitely book at least 2 nights to appreciate the care and professionalism from the staff into ensuring the stay is what you want it to be. Thanks again Bec and team

This is a wonderfully comfortable lodge located in an unique landscape of alpine vegetation and native wildlife. We stayed two nights and it exceeded our expectations in all respects. The lodge is expertly managed by the wonderful Bec who was so generous in sharing her knowledge and experience of the Central Plateau and she recommended hiking trails and areas to view the wildlife and experience the silence of the lakes. The lodge is so warm and comfortable and has two communal rooms with front row seats to the nightly animal parade outside. All the food was delicious and dining with other guests was a delight. Our room was clean, warm and the bed so comfortable. This is a special kind of place, very remote and fragile, come to appreciate the amazing ecosystems of the alpine central plateau!

I've been hiking out on the remote central plateau for 35 odd years now - flyfishing with a backpack and a compass. In the last decade though, the old Antartic Training Base has been revamped and shaped into a fantastic wilderness lodge. Luxury right on the porch of the wilderness. I could go on about the fireplace, the lounge rooms, the bar, the telescopes, the fantastic food, etc - but for me, the highlight is resident host extraordinaire - Bec Smith. Bec, surely has a PHD in Central Plateau geology, botany and biology - she has hiked it, tasted it, smelled it, photographed it and more. A real treasure, Bec makes the place all that more special for her unbridled passion and love for what can only be described as a unique part of this spinning-marble that we all frolick upon. Go stay there, go chat with Bec - you will treasure the memory.

We had an amazing few days off the grid exploring the wonderful landscape of the Central Plateau of Tasmania thanks to 1000 Lakes Lodge. The accommodation and meals were above our expectations and Bec went way above and beyond. She's so generous with her time, knowledge and skills (including taking aurora photos for us!) We were given delicious picnic lunches as we explored the local walks, and the gorgeous shack on the secluded beach. The wild animals and landscape are so well respected and taken care of for us all to enjoy. This stay was an unexpected highlight to our trip. Highly recommend a visit. We'll definitely be back!

An amazing place to get off the grid, unwind and explore the unique alpine landscape of the Central Plains Conservation Area. Nicknamed the “Heart of Tasmania,” I am so glad we visited here. The lodge is nicely I integrated into the landscape and you don’t have to go far to see amazing wildlife- quolls, Tasmanian devils and wallabies! The amenities were far beyond my expectation for a lodge. Bec helped us individualize our stay so I could stay in and be cozy in the library while reading about Tasmanian culture and history while my partner went trout fishing in glacial lakes all around the region. There are many beautiful walks to enjoy and great places to sit and draw too. Picnic lunches and meals were great. Wonderful wines, whiskeys and coffee too!
