Garfield, CO (also known as Monarch), elevation 9500', is six miles east of the Continental Divide surrounded by the San Isabel National Forest. Garfield originated as a mining town in the early 1800's. In the latter part of the century a fire swept through town leaving only 3 original buildings. Internet speed for one of our ISPs is ~24/25 Mbps for downloading and 3 Mbps for uploading. The other is ~10 Mbps for downloading and 1 Mbps for uploading.
