Covered front and back porches are a beautiful spot to enjoy morning coffee, grill, or dine al fresco on a gorgeous mountain evening. The main living area is open to the loft above. A beautiful stone fireplace has gas logs that provide warmth and easy ambiance on a cold winter night. The fully equipped kitchen has stainless appliances, Jenn-Air stove, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, and all your cooking essentials .Primary bedroom has king sized bed and with adjacent full bathroom including washer and dryer.Upstairs is a second bedroom with full en-suite bathroom and queen sized bed. The open loft area has a flat screen tv and comfy seating for rainy day movie watching or a marathon game of Monopoly. An extra twin sized day bed with trundle can sleep two.Our brand new hot tub can hold six and is a fantastic place to unwind after a round of golf or a long hike along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Test your fire building skills at the fire pit, toast marshmallows, roast hot dogs and make memories as the crickets chirp to welcome another star lit night.Dogs are welcome at the cabin, we allow up to (2) dogs total with a $50 pet fee. Spacious mountain home, 300 feet from the Eastern Continental Divide, designed and built by Civil Engineer & General Contractor, previous owner. Master Suite One has vaulted beam and deck ceiling, King size bed, hardwood floor, view deck, bath with double vanity, two person Jacuzzi Tub, large glass block and tile shower, and laundry. At the opposite end of this 110 foot long home is Master Suite Two, a huge bedroom with panoramic glass that overlooks the valley and mountains, walk in closet, new bath including double granite top vanity, and big glass block and tile shower with large picture window and view. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS BEDROOM SUITE IS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE DIRECTLY FROM THE GARAGE WITH NO STEPS OR RAMPS INVOLVED! The only problem is having a 24" wide door to bathroom.Second Floor has 2 bedrooms with Queen beds, patio door to private view deck, full bath, and balcony lounge overlooking great room and mountains beyond. In the balcony lounge there is also a little 'Secret Room' for the tots - a special, built-in Playhouse adjoining the balcony. It has been highly praised by our many family guests.Ground Floor has Master Suite Three with 2 Full/Twin Bunks looking through a 20 foot wide wall with floor to ceiling glass overlooking the valley and mountains, full bath, plus hall Twin, another bedroom with queen bed, patio door to view deck, large bath and closet. Also there is a large room with lots of glass for view, deck, wet bar, 60" TV, board games, puzzles, etc., and 5 ft. swing on view deck.Extensive professional landscaping with mountainside timbered multi-levels and many steps, 10 year Wisteria, and Summer garden.We have had several small weddings here approx. 25-40 people, inside, on the deck, and in the yard, all with the mountain view for pictures.
