Welcome to the eagles' nest log cabin nestled in the heart of the Laurel Highlands. This nest is the smaller of the two cabins on the property.This beautiful newly renovated cabin is surrounded by woods and backed by a roaring run creek a class A native trout stream. Within walking distance to the ICV hiking and biking trail and a short drive to both Seven Springs and Hidden Valley resorts plus PA's largest state park Ohiopyle, the cabin is the perfect location to experience the best of the Laurel Highlands. Our newly renovated cabin sleeps up to 2 people with a queen in the bedroom but also features a custom-made pull-out couch in the living room. Features include complete renovation inside and out, hot tub with privacy area, outdoor fire pit, automatic gas fireplace, outdoor seating area, outdoor grill, heat pump, and air conditioning, large flat screen television, and fast reliable internet. Open the window in the bedroom and let the sound of Roaring run put you to sleep. Our Luna Chalet cabin near Seven Springs and Hidden Valley Resorts sleeps up to 9 persons and has 2 full bathrooms. This rustic log cabin chalet has one master bedroom with queen-sized bed, two lofts and a sleeper sofa in the living area. One loft has 3 twin beds and the second loft has one full-sized bed. The second loft can also accommodate a full or queen sized air mattress if necessary. Luna Chalet has a full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, plates, silverware, and cookware. Just bring your groceries or have us pick some up for you prior to your stay!This Chalet is located just 5 miles from both Seven Springs Mountain Resort and Hidden Valley Ski Areas. Why stay in a stuffy condo when you could experience a real-life mountain log cabin stay while visiting any of the area's attractions. Enjoy clean, crisp mountain air, spacious cabins secluded away from the hustle and bustle of the mountain. The Luna Chalet is perfect for a couple's getaway or family ski vacation.Fireplaces! We have a real wood-burning fireplace fully stocked with firewood for your stay. The Luna chalet was built entirely out of locally-sourced timber that features massive log beams and rough-cut interior. You will not find one ounce of drywall in this all-wood log home. The logs still have the bark on them!Pet-Friendly - We are pet lovers! We welcome most breeds of dogs, a rarity here in the Laurel Highlands. We do have a few breed restrictions however since there are multiple cabins situated on our property.Wildlife and Bird Watching - Luna Chalet has a large bird feeder on the back wooden deck that attracts all sorts of birds from Blue-Jays, Cardinals, Woodpeckers and a variety of Finches. Deer plots are set up near the cabin that attracts White-Tail Deer as well as squirrels and an occasional grey fox or two. Unique 3 bedroom 2 bath loft cabin tucked away in the mountains of Laurel Highlands PA. This property offers excellent nature views and attractions, especially the fall and winter foliage. Perfect for a family getaway or a skiers/boarders hangout.Conveniently located 3.5 miles from 7Springs Resort and 6.5 miles from Hidden Valley Resort. Sits right in the heart of the Roaring Run Hillside hiking trails, great forWalk-in and you have what we refer to as the marble room (floor is made from marble). This is a common living room with a large bar, couches, window benches, and family entertainment (board games, bumper pool/card table and cable TV) this room can be chilly in the winter we do have baseboard heating and a portable heater under the chimney, but it still tends to get cold in the winter months. From the marble room, you go up three steps, through a set of wooden sliding doors into the kitchen. Kitchen has all new, updated appliances with an average sized kitchen table. Connected to the kitchen you have the first full bathroom (#1). Off the kitchen there is a set of spiral stairs that go up to the loft where there lies a king size bed. Morning views from the loft are hard to beat! Through the kitchen is the family room which has an open space concept with sliding glass doors/windows that that look out into the woods that surround the house. The family room also has a fireplace with wood and fire starting essentials to allow for a nice and cozy cabin experience. This fireplace really acts as the main source of heat for the entire cabin.Then going down stairs you have a common space with another full bathroom(#2) and two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen size bed. On the main floor through the sliding glass doors is a deck with table seating. The property has an outdoor fire pit right by the front entrance with a wood stack underneath the deck.
