Or, you could just curl up with a book inside the cabin in front of a crackling fire!Guest accessGuests staying at Diamond Falls Preserve are able to enjoy everything the 320+ acre preserve has to offer, including the main cabin (sleeps 14), the bunk house (sleeps 6), the hot tub, all decks, the seasonally stocked trout pond, miles of private hiking trails, the field, the outdoor rock patios and the fire pit. Please note: In the Main Cabin, there are two full bathrooms, one on each floor. Bedroom #4 upstairs in the Main Cabin is a loft-style bedroom with a Queen bed and offers limited privacy. The Bunk House above the three car garage is detached from the Main Cabin, sleeps 6 guests in beds with an open floor plan and has a half bath with a toilet and sink. A private outdoor shower is available weather permitting from April - October. Guests are unable to access the garage; however, there is plenty of parking on site.Other things to note:Diamond Falls Preserve is located on a private, gravel road that dead ends in to the property. The property has a gated stone entrance. For security and safety considerations, please inform your guests that security cameras located on the front porch are visible and actively monitor the front entryway and driveways. The mailbox is located almost 1/2 mile away from the gated entrance. Deliveries are usually left at the mailbox located near the blue barn on your way up the gravel road. The property is surrounded by natural beauty in every direction and large tracts of undeveloped land. Beautiful log cabin very private with abundant hardwood tree and mountain laurel with views out every window of surrounding mountains, kitchen has granite counter tops and new stainless steel appliances, the whole cabin has new furniture with some custom pieces, floor to ceiling wood burning real rock fireplace, ash hardwood flooring on main level, has a large master bedroom with king size bed, the master bath has imported stone flooring, marble counter top on vanity with large stone tile shower and 6' free standing cast iron tub. Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs also large upstairs loft area with sectional sofa and a 52 inch flat screen TV all TVs are hooked up to Dish Network, upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed with upstairs bathroom which has a tub shower combo with stone tile flooring and granite counter top on vanity, the downstairs living room has a pull out sofa. This cabin lets you also bring the living outside with a large front porch and side deck just off of this deck is a large custom fire pit, grill (charcoal) and covered hot tub area. September 27, 2024, is a day we will never forget here in WNC. Hurricane Helene wreaked havoc to this area of our mountains. Slowly but surely, we are rebuilding. Grandma's Cabin was miraculously spared and is now up and running.We do need to let everyone know that the road conditions are rough in some parts. The town of Chimney Rock is closed to the public while being rebuilt, Despite the devastation there is still so much beauty in this area in the land and people.We ask that you please abide the signs and the workers and support our communities.Thank youStep back in time with this rustic mountain cabin yet enjoy all the modern amenities of this 2 br/1 bath fully remodeled gem located on a 6 acre private, peaceful estate.Hang out with family and friends on the front porch in the rockers or try out the ever relaxing porch swing or grill out on the back porch. Soak away a day of hiking in the spa on the front porch,As you enter the front door you will be amazed at the attention to detail and thought that went into the design and furnishing to make sure your stay is fun and relaxing. Enjoy the gas fireplace for those chilly nights. Fresh linens and towels are provided and a washer and dryer are on site along with detergents etc. The decor is just what you would expect to find in the Smoky mountains of Western NC. Don't forget to visit the landmark cider mill just minutes away and shop the quaint stores of downtown Chimney Rock. Tryon International Equestrian is approximately 35 minutes from cabin. Black Bear Snow Tubing is located about 7 miles from cabin.
