The cabin was built of native American chestnut logs in the 1832-1833 time periods. The original cabin was 24 feet by 20 feet, and only had 2 rooms, one downstairs and a loft bedroom upstairs. The logs were hand hewn. This historical part of the cabin still stands and has been beautifully expanded into the 4001 square foot cabin it is today. We pride ourselves on care. During your stay you will find everything you need from toiletries, fluffy towels, cozy beds, coffee, first aid kit and more!
