The Cabin is located at North Alabama Sailing Marina with a fresh renovation throughout the two bedroom one bath 1200 square foot home. Large picture windows offer a million dollar view of the lake. Bring your own boat, sail or motor, and launch from our private ramp and have parking for the vehicle and trailer adjacent to the Cabin. Slip space is provide throughout your stay. Walk out in the morning with a cup of coffee and get on your boat ready for the day. A charcoal grill and lakeside fire pit are provided for evening entertaining. Bring the wife along to enjoy the downtown antique shopping, casual breakfast / lunch or enjoy a day reading on the porch overlooking Lake Guntersville.The house has all the amenities of home. It comes with a large front loading washer and dryer, and the kitchen has a full size electric stove, microwave and refrigerator. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, and all the essentials to prepare a meal. The dining room has seating for six.Gather in the large living room and sink in the comfy leather sofa and enjoy the view of beautiful Lake Guntersville, watch movies on the large flat screen TV or venture out on the porch and while away the evening on the porch swing.There are two spacious bedrooms. One has a new king size bed and the other has a new full size bed and one new twin over full bunk bed. Comfortably accommodating six guests. Linens for the bath and bedrooms are provided.Groceries, restaurants, gas and bait are available within a mile. "Fire by the Lake" restaurant and bar is within walking distance and "Char Burger", a local favorite, is within a quarter of a mile. Also a great retreat in the cooler weather with two fireplaces, outdoor firepit, and festive holiday decor!The kitchen contains more equipment than usual as we have many stock pots, serving trays, a blender, pitchers, etc. The house is situated on a hill affording a fantastic view that follows long stone steps to the dock. A TVA public boat launch is directly across Highway 431, less than a mile from the house. You are welcome to tie your boat off on our private boat dock. The driveway is steep and while it is accessible to fishing boats, it is not appropriate for the trailering of large boats down it. If you intend on bringing a boat, please notify us either before or after booking. Just 30 minutes from Huntsville and 10 minutes from downtown Guntersville, you can choose seclusion or shopping and nightlife.The living room features a working fireplace with ample seating. We have a flat screen tv with a Roku so you can log into your personal streaming accounts. Three private bedrooms (a king, queen, and double) sleep six. Three twins (two with trundles) and a queen sleeper sofa add seven additional sleepers.There are two full baths upstairs and downstairs, but you might rather use the private hot/cold outdoor shower in warm weather.This lake house has been in the family since the late 60’s and it retains its cozy, laid-back charm. 1 bedroom cabin 2 miles from GTO bait shop and Brown’s Creek boat ramp. The cabin sits on my property. I am a General Manager for a major Hotel Chain. I live in the house next door and I promise you a clean comfortable stay. The cabin offers you plenty of privacy. I furnish linens and will change them every 3 days if requested. The cabin is pet friendly 1 dog or cat allowed. If you have questions please reach out to me. It is equipped with 1 full size bed in the bedroom, a pullout sofa bed in the living area, dorm sized fridge/freezer, microwave, shower (no bathtub), HD tv with a Roku and Spectrum cable, WiFi coffeemaker . You can park your boat at the cabin or pull in to my driveway, which is directly beside it, to plug in your boat. I keep an extension cord on the left side for guests to use. The entire property is surrounded by multiple ADT security systems so you can rest and enjoy your stay without worrying about your belongings. This cabin isn’t the definition of luxury by any means but it is comfortable and it’s perfect for anyone wanting to stay in a safe area while they explore North Alabama or just come and fish the lake. The cabin has its own entrance but shares a driveway and parking areas with another tiny home on site. The split unit located inside the cabin controls the temperature throughout the cabin. There is a remote located in the drawers under the TV.Other things to noteNo key is provided to enter your cabin. You will be provided an access code and the door has a key pad. You will input your code when coming and going from the cabin. The ceiling fan and lights are also controlled by a remote located inside the door.
