This fabulous cabin was built in 2018, and will debut as a vacation rental in the spring of 2019.The cabin has a beautiful open concept floor plan with vaulted ceilings and custom woodwork. AHickory cabinets and granite counter tops create a luxurious kitchen, fully furnished with all the items needed to prepare a wonderful meal. A wood burning fireplace is the focal point of the combination living/dining room. There is a large deck located just off of the living room, perfect for morning coffee and evening relaxation!The main floor features two bedrooms and the full bathroom. One bedroom offers a queen bed, and the other has two twins. The beautiful master bedroom is located upstairs with a newly remodeled half bath!This cabin does have internet. Due to the beautiful, rural location of this cabin, the internet available does not include unlimited data. The internet works well for tasks such as emails and browsing, but it is inadequate for streaming, gaming, and video chats.Being only 2.5 miles from Eleven Mile Reservoir, guests of The Dakota Sky Lodge will have access to some of Colorado's finest Gold Medal fishing! AC in the summer, and direct heat in the winter will sure add to your comfort level.The Space:The cabin has 2 bedrooms, one on the main level and an upstairs loft bedroom. Both bedrooms have a king size bed for your comfort. The front deck has a great seating area with a propane grill. There is an additional patio amongst the trees with the hot tub and fire pit - so cozy!Guest accessWith the exception of the garage, you will have access to the entire cabin and 2 acre property!The Area:-19 miles to Fairplay for groceries and a great selection of restaurants.-40 miles to Breckenridge for world class skiing. Skip all the I-70 traffic! -18 miles to Kenosha Pass - it is one of the best places to view the gorgeous changing aspen leaves in the fall!-13 miles to Tarryall Reservoir for fishing and hiking. -There are also some activities offered at local ranches such as horseback riding and ATV tours.Amenities:-Hot Tub - enjoy your evenings relaxing in the hot tub under the stars (Guests use the hot tub at their own risk. Please shower before entering the hot tub in order to prevent soiling the water. The hot tub gets serviced professionally every Wednesday.)-Fire pit - enjoy a glass of wine by the fire. It is a propane fire pit, so no wood is needed.-BBQ Grill - there is a propane grill perfect for grilling out on the deck with a gorgeous view.-Games - we have a selection of games for your entertainment.Other things to note:The stairs up to the loft are very steep. Please be very careful.The property, in general, isn't suitable for young children and there aren’t any children’s amenities available. Please note: During the fall through spring the roads can become snow packed and icy at times. Please make sure your vehicle is equipped to handle those conditions. All-wheel drive with good tires is highly recommended.Cell phone reception can be spotty, so make sure to load directions to the cabin before you lose service! We have Wifi at the cabin so you can stay connected during your stay, but we encourage you to disconnect and enjoy! Please also be respectful of our neighbors!PLEASE NOTE: Absolutely no camp fires or any type of ember producing equipment is permitted on the property.
