THE SPACEOur cozy retreat features four private bedrooms—two on each level. With two queen beds (both equipped with brand-new mattresses in 2025) and five twin beds, everyone can rest comfortably. Each floor is also equipped with a bathroom for your convenience. We also now have Central AC so all rooms will be cool. The spacious kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining room, offering breathtaking views of the lake. Adjacent to the dining area is a versatile side room, perfect for an extra dining space or a quiet spot to savor your morning coffee or evening cocktail.Step outside and enjoy our fabulous outdoor spaces! A gentle slope leads down to the private dock, making trips to the lake easy and enjoyable. Off the dining room, a generous deck awaits, complete with ample seating, a BBQ grill, and a table large enough for family gatherings.Down by the lake, you'll find a serene seating area ideal for soaking in the sunrise or unwinding while the kids splash around. There’s even a fire pit for roasting marshmallows under the starlit sky and spotting shooting stars.Simply put, life by the lake is pure relaxation! Water is great for swimming and water levels are always high enough for a boat to be docked. Rocky Shoreline access – lake level fluctuates depending on the season. Spring – Lake levels will be high. The docks do not start getting installed until late April. We do not GUARANTEE any dock in the water before Memorial Day. Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Depending on the weather, the lake levels may come up higher than that making the docks hard to access as their walkways will be underwater. We do our best to make sure they are accessible, but we cannot always get to them on demand. Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be docked, water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking. Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Nestled away in a quiet little community, our cabin is located just a few minutes from the lake, restaurants, breweries, shopping, entertainment, and more. You can spend all day on the lake and come back to enjoy some refreshments and s’mores by the fire pit. If you're more of a homebody, enjoy one of our books or listen to a vinyl. We also have Wi-Fi and Smart TVs for those who don’t like to unplug. ABOUT THE SPACEWelcome to our lakefront home on Lake Wallenpaupack. Our unique layout lets you look out onto the lake from almost every area of the house. Our grand entrance allows you to see down into the living area as well as right out to the lake. Stay cool all summer with new Central AC on both levels. THE SPACEThere are three bedrooms on the entry level with a full bath that have two twins in two of the rooms and a king bed in the master which looks out over the lake with it's own balcony. Down the steps to the main level you enter the living room and a fully equipped kitchen and one more bedroom with a queen and bathroom with shower. The 2nd living room doubles as extra sleeping space and has a pull-out couch also overlooking the deck to the water below. The 2nd living room has a large flatscreen smart TV with streaming options and cable. The other living room has a smaller TV with cable and there is a Game Box for more entertainment in one of the upstairs twin bedrooms. The ultimate blockbuster feature of this property is the expansive decks that surround two sides of the house and overlook the lake and is canopied by trees. The propane BBQ grill also sits on the deck along with table and chairs for dining. Other seating is available on different parts of the deck and can be moved for the best view you can have. A small firepit is located on a small deck midway down to the lakefront. At the lakefront we have a large dock that can accommodate up to two boats and/or jet ski's. This spacious room allows wonderful views of the lake everywhere you look! Lake Wallenpaupack's signature sunrises will never fail to take your breath away!Our lower level has another bedroom with 2 single beds and a queen, a bathroom, laundry room, bar area, and great room with enough sectional seating for the whole group. Can't forget the game room! Put your table tennis skills to the test on our ping-pong table!Outside the home you'll discover a spacious deck overlooking the sparkling lake.
