Our log cabin is named 'Where the Greene Grass Grows'. If you want to get away to a cute, beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath log cabin on 3+ acres of absolutely gorgeous land, this is your next vacation spot! A small creek runs through the property and runs under Bethel road into the Watauga River. At the river you can go fishing, tubing or just play in the river and cool off. There is a great wood burning stove in the living room area (DO NOT USE BASEMENT STOVE). On the main floor there is a full bedroom and a full bath, along with a washer & dryer room. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. The dining room and living room will add to the cozy atmosphere. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with a twin bed, plus a pull out twin trundle. There is another bathroom upstairs "tub only" between the 2 bedrooms. Relax on the front porch or back deck on the rockers or swings. The back porch has a grill and the full basement can be used for game night. This cabin was built in 1985. It is only a few miles to Watauga Lake, Beech Mountain skiing and you can drive just a few minutes further to reach Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Tubing at Hawksnest & Appalachian Ski Mountain. Boone is a great college town for Appalachian State University, plus has shopping, restaurants, movies. Valle Crucis is only about 5 miles away and is home to the Mast General Store and the famous Candy Barrel. The main floor includes two queen bedrooms with a shared full bath.
