Ibis Styles Châlons-en-Champagne Centre

Clean,convenient,basic but functional as a quick stop over on the way back to Calais. We booked this last minute so it was expensive for what you get. Good however to have parking options, the only difficulty is finding it as previous people have said. Sat Nav does not understand the one way restrictions!

The hotel was comfortable and clean. We stayed in Room 4 which seemed cold considering the weather had been warm and no amount of adjustment to air con seemed to make any difference, but we were there only for one night. Car parking was underground and safe. In all a fairly average budget hotel. However, a warning to anyone using Google Maps as the basis for their Sat Nov. The front of the hotel faces the Place de la Republique and the rear where the entrance to the car park is situated is on Rue Lochet. The Rue Lochet is a one way road and for some reason Google does not recognise this and tries to take one the wrong way up the street! The best way to drive to the hotel is to set the Sat Nav for the Place De La Republique, park up in the free spaces, get the entry code to the car park from reception and then take two right hand turns to access the car park from the right end of the Rue Lochet - that way it will save a lot of stress.

Aside from cleanliness being a tad below my personal (high) expectations, this was a faultless and very comfortable stay. Set right on the square which hosts regular events, the Ibis Styles Centre is the perfect stay for exploring this delightful city. Lively by day, at night it was quiet - perfect for a restful night in comfortable beds. The hard-working staff are friendly and helpful. The decor in summer 2024 is iconic, mirroring the city's historic archictecture and the "jeu"/challenge which accompanies it a great idea.

Easy check in and check out, Very clean hotel with clean functional room and comfy bed. Breakfast was good too. Great Location right in the centre of the town overlooking the square. Car parking available too.

Nice stay right in the centre of town. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room seemed a little bigger than normal Ibis, quite a decent amount of storage for a 1 or 2 night stay, nice big shower, comfortable bed, air conditioning. Small parking garage which you have to pre book and cost €10 per night. Breakfast was the normal fare but replenished and good. Walk right out of the main doors and onto an area with bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend if passing through.

Hotel located in central square in Chalons en Champagne. It offers simple rooms (typical Ibis style) that overlook the square with a nice view. Convenient parking in the back of the hotel. Quick check in/check out operations. Great for a short stay
