Yiju 1983 Hotel (Wuyi Square IFS International Financial Center)

The main reason we chose this hotel was it’s excellent location (near to the major shopping malls Wangfujing, IFS mall and the famous Taiping street) and after reading several of its positive reviews by the guests. However since the hotel is located in the busy area, the road leading to the hotel was not accessible by car after 8 pm. As such our taxi driver had to stop us a little distance away. So please bear in mind this accessibility issue after 8 pm.. The hotel is located on the fifth floor of a building shared by other businesses. The lifts were old and small. Nevertheless all the initial disappointment faded away upon reaching the hotel. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The room was a pleasant surprise. It was neat, clean with many unexpected features unlike other hotels of the same category. Facilities are modern, complete and the room well lighted. The bathroom is comfortable, with automated heated toilet seat, and powerful shower facility. Another good feature is the wash basin located outside the toilet. There is also a Laifen hairdryer and even a projector. The service was exceptional with very friendly and helpful staff always offering additional drinking water and providing free laundry service, a highly appreciated

I love this hotel. From location, service, amenities, cleanliness and comfort. However, if I have to nitpick, I can't appreciate the colour choice of the bathroom and one of the rooms I booked - it's too dark to my liking. The ventilator also didn't seem to work or too weak. Hotel provides free flow of coffee 24/7 but you need to place your order via Wechat or at the front desk and they will bring it to your room. While it is convenient for guests, I think it will be tiring for the staff. Perhaps can consider placing a self serve coffee machine somewhere. They also provide free laundry service which is awesome. The hotel is located on level 5 of an old building. The building lobby at level 1 and the elevators are pretty old and dirty. There is also a sex toy(?) shop and a snooker place there so the surrounding is not the best. Having said that, as long as the price remains competitive, I'd pick this hotel again if I ever visit Changsha again next time.

We came to Changsha without a guide and chose this hotel as it is very near to the shopping street. I would recommend this hotel to everyone as the location is very convenient and the rooms are clean and very worth for the price paid. It is 5 mins walk to 长沙印象汇, my favourite mall so far as there is a big Walmart to buy snacks back for family and friends. There are many souvenir snack stores nearby as well. The reception was very friendly as well, answering my questions through WeChat and giving us extra water. Thank you so much to the staff for their warm hospitality! We enjoyed China very much! ☺️

The location was the best thing about this hotel! It’s in the heart of Changsha city right in front of Taiping Street and Pozi Street right behind. Also a 5 minute walk to Huangxing Pedestrian Road and IFS Mall. Because there’s so much around there’s lots to do, see, and eat. However, at night it gets pretty busy and noisy. The noise was too loud in the rooms but noticeable since the hotel is located on the 5th floor of a busy commercial building. The room was kept tidy and nice however you could tell it was old and in need of some repairs. There was a water leak on the ceiling and the walls were quite dirty. But the bedding and towels were clean and the bathroom. The hotel itself needs to be kept clean when I walk to my room there was a big pile of towels on the ground! A little shocking to be greeted by that. It’s a good hotel if you want a good location and cheap place to stay. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful!

We couldn't have booked a better hotel in Changsha. The location is absolutely perfect. Right opposite of the famous Taiping Street and it's so near to eateries and shops. No problem finding food here even pass midnight. Entertainment and spas are located all over. The hotel itself is clean and beautifully decorated. The room smells good and all the amenities are complete. They even gave ear plugs and sleeping eye mask. The highlight is definitely the huge screen projector. They provide free laundry and coffee which you can ask from the reception. The welcome gift is a nice touch as well. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back when I'm in Changsha.

1st experience with this hotel was so satifying. Booked another 2 nights stay with a bigger room when back from Zhangjiajie. Room is very clean. They even provide free laundry. Had our clothes washed, folded and sent to out room. Lots of shops n eatery near hotel. Taiping Street is just about 15mins walk from the hotel. As usual, the people there are super friendly. The lady helped us booked a car ride to airport . She even helped us with our luggage, waited for the car with us before she returned to the hotel. Excellent service!!

My recent stayed at Yiju was wonderful, the front desk young girl service was great,friendly and smiling.She knows that we love coffee, she always propose us a Coffee, the coffee was Good .

Location: The hotel is located at the heart of the city! Extremely convenient to shop and go back to rest before going out again, multiple times a day. We were surrounded by nightlife and lots of food options even after 2am. We share the same building as a karaoke and famous bar so it gets bustling on weekend nights. The shared lift was not pleasant but I wasn’t a big deal to me. There is an amazing massage place in the same building that opens 24/7. Perfect for food reflexology after a long day of sightseeing. Room: Was amazed at the smart home. Loved the clean room, silent projector with huge screen, great hair dryer, fast and free laundry service, free bottled water, shower was very strong which was great! Only down side is it bathroom was a little small and it gets flooded with water. But they do offer slippers so it wasn’t that bad. If we needed anything we can just WeChat the reception. We were also the unlucky ones who had room closer to the club, was a bit noisy at night but was too tired it didn’t bother me much. They provide ear plugs if you need. It’s not perfect, but for the price, location, service and amenities, I’d say it was worth it. Would recommend to my friends.

I love this hotel very much , they show us a very nice hospitality. The owner is nice , hotel view and room is clean and good . I would highly recomended this hotel to everyone in my country to stay in this hotel.
