Porto Del Colombo Traditional Boutique Hotel

The hotel was quite inaccessible in the old town. No taxi would take us there so a 20 minute walk towing suitcases by a mid-70s couple. The room was on the top - 3rd floor. This hotel was recommended by friends and we knew there was no elevator but it was still hard going. The booked room said ‘town views’ but in fact the view was a wall and three air conditioning units - see attached photo. We stayed in three places in Crete, this was the most expensive by at least 30 Euros a night and was the least agreeable. Not recommended.

Absolutely amazing. Apart from being a great location and a beautiful hotel, the staff was amazing. They were so warm and friendly. They even made us some, ‘to-go’ breakfasts the night before a very early flight out. The best place we stayed in during a 4 country tour.

The location is perfect, pictoresque street corners all around and the harbor is just a few meters away. Our room was spacious, clean and had old time elegance in it. Lovely staff and super helpful, thanks for hospitability. They serve delicious breakfast too.

the hotel is located in the old city. 650 years old building in a very narrow alley, very queit and very romantic. the room is speicious and well decorated. the stuff is very efficient and friendly. excelent breakfast. as it is located in the old gated city ,no cars can reach it , but there is free parking near by. 10/10

. Lovely small hotel, as the building is old, obviously there is no lift, its very charming and authentic and we loved it . A warm welcome, a quirky top floor room and a comfy bed, it is hot as the air con was not great, but Id go back again . Breakfast and delicious coffee and good orange juice, its lovely ! Highly Recommend .

The most charming hotel with the warmest and most gracious hosts of our recent visit to Greece. Housed in a 1,000 year old building, the interior is modernized and updated with exposed beams and original enchanting features. The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. Delicious breakfasts were served and the host went the extra mile to provide sack breakfasts when we had to leave early. Can recommend this hotel strongly enough!
