Teochew Minglin Mansion recensioner

We liked everything about this refurbished mansion, keep the old structure and new interior for the room. The reception helped us with private car chartered, shared the history of this mansion, pretty nice of them. It's near to walk down the paifang street and others touristy spot too. Definitely recommended to others... :)

A very peaceful stay at the mansion. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient and easily accessible to various places of interest.

great environment and service, a lot more than expected

Location and the beauty of the accommodation is what attracted me to book in the first place. After 5 nights here, hospitality of the staffs touches me. They make sure that guests are well taken care of making us feel at home. Will definitely stay again when I visit Chaoshan

As this booking was for our relatives, they would like to share that they like this hotel so much that they said they would be coming back for another stay. The hotel location is near the tourist street , so it is located in a very good location. The 2 bedroom 1 living room duplex is our favourite room as it allows the family to gather in the living room to chat.

The hotel is located quite far fm the Chaosan railway station. We had hired a pte car pick up recommended by the hotel. After drop off, we had to still walk about 300 metres to reach the property. The staff were friendly n helpful at check in. We had chosen the duplex unit which turned out to b a mistake n the facilities in the property was very unfriendly. Had my head knocked on the steps while trying to make coffee. What I was pleased with was the laundry where I could washed my laundry on 2 machines in tandem. There were many eateries after walking out that 300 metres n the pedestrian street was near by but nothing much to see except stalls selling the same kinds of food/fruits. The property itself was very nice n traditional. The surroundings were unfortunately nothing to admire or appreciate n we were v disappointed.

Lovely new boutique hotel in a great location. We booked the room with a courtyard which was more expensive but worth every penny. The hotel is located in a little alley only accessible by foot or bike. They were great in sending us instructions via WeChat on how to get there and also helped us arrange a private car hire from the high speed rail station. It was an easy 5 minute walk from the main road with our luggage. The little alleyways are full of character. The hotel also sent us tons of info on local food and attractions close to the hotel as well. The room itself was beautiful, with everything you’ll need and we especially loved the courtyard. We enjoyed the little box of local snacks and the local tea offered in the room. No coffee though, so make sure you bring your own instant coffee packets. The location is great - we walked everywhere. It’s just mere minutes to Pai Fang Street and also walkable to attractions like Kai Yuan Temple, Guang Ji Bridge and Tower Gate. Lots of food options in the area - from local snacks to little eateries and full service restaurants. We’ll be back if we ever come back to Chaozhou.

Enjoyed the stay in Teochew Minglin Mansion. Location is in Chaozhou ancient city, Must be prepared to do a lot of walking.

Hotel is located near to old street and very convenient. Hotel staffs is very helpful and friendly. They even help to collect our parcel. Overall is very fantastic stay.

Inn located in the ancient town. New and clean accommodation for a comfortable stay. Air conditioning is powerful and room amenities are provided. Location is accessible to most parts of Chaozhou by Didi. Staff is super helpful and readily makes recommendations for local eating places and authentic Teochew snacks. Highly recommend this inn for a stay as the ambience is a unique experience, unlike a typical hotel. Thanks for a great stay.

Very clean, modernised amenities in traditional and beautiful surrounds.

Excellent hotel and staff friendly. It reminds me the traditional house architecture.
