Great place! Very clean and the staff were very helpful and nice! The room was clean and was stocked with everything! Our room even had a Keurig  and a microwave plus a mini fridge. We had the top floor and the corner room which we have never had before but the view was amazing!

Fantastic hotel with modern furnishings and breathtaking views of the Smokies from a large floor to ceiling picture window if you’re in a west-facing room. This is a space you really want to hang out in when you’re taking a break from all the things to do in Asheville and around the area. It’s on the western edge of downtown, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel’s Hemingway’s Cuba restaurant and bar is a great place to have a drink after dinner on the outside patio. I highly suggest the Havana Brisa if you like sweet drinks. The staff are all very friendly and the valet parking is reasonable and convenient. My only complaint (and it is small) is that the towels are scratchy. Ice machines are on odd-numbered floors. The addition of a water bottle filling station in the lobby would be awesome. I would definitely stay here again if I revisit!

I was expecting something a little more upscale, but it turned out to be very basic. The restaurant was some tables in the lobby. The menu was burgers and sandwiches, NOT the food that was shown on the website. And I was expecting a pretty River view, but there was none. Overall. Not what I expected at all.

Immediately greeted at the front desk by Katrina, who was super helpful giving us ideas and suggestions for places to eat during our stay. Our room was very clean and large. Comfortable beds and pillows. Convenient location for our itinerary while in Charleston. Highly recommend.

The hotel advertised on AirBnb with an age policy of 18. Confirmed and paid for the reservation in advance. When I arrived to check in, the hotel refused to allow me to check in due to being under 21. When I brought to their attention I had booked through AirBnb and it clearly stated a check-in minimum age of 18, I was informed the hotel had "changed their policy" since the time of my booking (I did not receive any notice of their policy change). The hotel management, specifically the "AirBnb co-host" Jason, would not reimburse my money and told me I would need to contact AirBnb to mediate on by behalf, but to "please know that all refund requests are subject to owner's approval. You can probably see where this is going. So, I contacted AirBnb as suggested and, of course, it was too late to cancel through AirBnb since it was my day of check-in, but they acknowledged my issue. True to form, they would not reimburse me without contacting the host for approval. Guess what? The host (Jason) was the same person at the hotel who refused to return my money to begin with and he denied the request from AirBnb. In other words Jason and Cambria gave me the run around and took my money. Long story short, I have no idea if the accommodations are any good, but I can assure you the people in charge lack integrity and did not deal with me honestly or fairly. If anyone with any authority at Cambria would like to make things right, they are welcome to contact me. I can share my correspondence from their "co-host" Jason for confirmation.

Another year, another corporate meeting at the Cambria in Charleston. This year it started off with a very indifferent front desk reception from the desk staff. The rooms are quite decent, but nothing seems to have been done about the hot water issues. If you want a lukewarm shower, get up early, and run the water for at least 7 to 10 minutes so that it warms up. Our room was "serviced" each day, however no new coffee or cups were placed on the coffee bar. The bartender was downright hateful, yelling at people, and cut off food service suddenly. This was unfortunate for those who had traveled from the US West Coast, and had not had anything for supper, and had no transportation. There are no walkable restaurants near the hotel. The bartender further was yelling at people, and told one in our party "I am a single mother." He informed her that he was a single father, but he was still working and making arrangements for his children's care. Just unnecessary. The breakfasts are $13 plus tax, and the breakfast area was dirty. There was old food on the tables, and the offerings included rubber eggs, cement grits, swimming in grease bacon. The whole breakfast self service area was filthy. This hotel knew this large group was coming, yet there was no plan to accommodate the crowd. This is just poor hotel management. Do not book groups to this hotel.

Overall it is a good quality hotel and the location is great. A few improvements needed: Gym: some weights are missing, the gym is large with equipments. Breakfast: a bit mediocre for the price. Look for somewhere else. They could easily improve. No water bottles in the room A few pluses: Check in staff is great! Ample parking Comfortable beds

It’s a newer hotel so that’s a plus. It was one of the cleanest and least smelly hotels we’ve stayed at in a bit. The bed was ok. Room was warm at night. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It was the worst hotel breakfast we’ve ever had, and we had to pay for it. Maybe the cook had a bad day, maybe it’s always this bad?!?! We weren’t gonna try it again to find out. The bartender always seemed happy to be there and was good at his job. We never tried any of the restaurants food, but it looked decent.

This was our first time here. The room was comfy enough, but we did a timeshare trade into it and found it lacking amenities. The breakfasts were expensive, so we opted to dine out. They also have ONLY 2 luggage carts for 4 floors, so we hand carried everything up ourselves.

Everything was fantastic! Enjoyed the bar and the room. Friendly staff. Will definitely use this hotel again, on our next trip to Charleston!!!!!!! I would encourage anyone to come and stay at this hotel!!!!! Cambria hotel Charleston riverview!!

The rooms here are beautiful. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Shoutout to Sterling and Haqika for their customer service. My only negative was the service at breakfast was extremely slow, it was unreasonably slow. And after paying our bills with our credit cards (there were 3 of us) the server asked each of us to not tip on the credit card, but to pay tip in cash.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff at the front desk were the nicest people. My only complaint was breakfast. It took an hour for our group of three to get an omelet, oatmeal, and scramble eggs and sausage. I would definitely recommend staying here, but eat somewhere else if you have somewhere you need to be.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Our only downfall was the bathroom door not closing and the water pressure and temperature were not good but they told us they were working on the hot water. We loved our first time in Charleston and will return to this hotel across the river from the historic district. We felt safe at all times.

We checked in and the clerk was very nice. He kindly informed us that the hot water pump was not working correctly, not sure of the words, and that the hot water would be sporadic. It was mid evening and looking for a new hotel wasn’t an option. WE HAD NO HOT WATER AT ALL. Then the tv would not stay on. The room was clean but the walls are thin and it’s very loud. Super disappointed at paying full price when we’re told there are hot water issues but we should have some. There are plenty of other options for hotel in the area and will choose one of those the next trip.
