Super 8 by Wyndham Charlotte University recensioner

Location there’s not much around and what restaurants there are are closed. Rooms non smoking but smoke was the first thing I smelled when I walked in. Room was average and bed seemed clean. Felt like I was in little Mexico

Dirty, loud, gross. Floors were sticky. I pray there were not bed bugs. Chair falling apart. Stains on the walls. Filthy. I honestly didn’t want to stay but it was non-refundable. Front desk folks were very kind but that’s the only good thing I can say. It’s really really dirty and stinks of ********.

In my room the hair dryer didn't work as well as the mini fridge. The standing lamp was really wobbly I was afraid to touch or use it.

Decent hotel for just a weekend stay. The breakfast is very close to continental style minus the scrambled eggs. It's closely located to grocery stores, retail stores, gas stations, restaurants, and the highway.

Friendly & professional staff. Big, clean room. Great grab & go breakfast options.

The place was so clean as well as the rooms The housekeepers were so nice and ask if I needed anything, I would definitely recommend anyone to this hotel

Well the managers don't communicate well. I called and one said I can stay late. I had a meeting, one of the workers comes screaming I need to stay over. I ask did he speak with the other, he replied he's sleep!! I almost lost my contract. I stayed here frequently, never again. I had a booking I paid for prior to the ordeal, upon return, the same rude front desk asked me if I said I would never come back. I reminded him I booked the stay prior to the incident. Some of the workers look down on people that maybe having a tough time in life at the time. I am an insurance agent and just moved into the area and I'm waiting for my house to be fixed. I will never visit this establishment again. The one thing that I do appreciate is that 1 manager forgot to tell me things but he was nice and pleasant most of the time. Good luck And by the way I still kept my contract with all that disturbance knocking on my door. Thank God!

Staff was hard to understand. Room was clean other than the air conditioner, which was full of mold & dust. They left 2 shampoos in the bathroom that were partially used. No elevator, they moved us from 1st floor to 2nd floor since our original room wasn't ready. Upon departure I found a bug in my bed, not a bedbug thankfully!!! We didn't stay the 2nd night as we intended due to the condition of the room & the lack of the outside pool, which was advertised! Also, they were 8 miles from our venue instead of 3-4 miles as they stated. They would not refund my 2nd night & directed me to call Trip.com & have you call them. They said they would be happy to help if you would call them. I should've checked the location better as we were in a very bad part of town full of druggies & homeless. The staff even told us NOT to talk to the homeless people! None of this is Trip.com's fault. I was pleased with the ease of booking through your site. I will be calling you later to obtain a full refund from this hotel. For some reason my photos won't upload below.

There was roaches around, it was nasty!
