The location is perfect with lots of nice places to eat in a short safe walk and the customer service from the staff was excellent. The property is under major renovations so be prepared for some inconvenience but, the rooms are clean and currently the parking is free. I cannot wait to see to see it completely finished.

You really get what you pay for…the best part about the stay was being able to walk back from the bar. THE HOTEL IS NO LONGER REALLY A PART OF THE TRAIN STATION. Online photos and reviews were very deceiving since many people rated it well due to visiting the station, not the hotel itself.
Construction everywhere. It feels like a motel in every way. Not at all what was advertised. We even had creepy phone messages at night. Not kidding. Employees were kind at least. Will not return.

Just loved this place, clean and classic. Highly recommend So many restaurants in walking distance. Pool was amazing, service was great. Bedding and pillows were very comfortable. We will be planning another trip to the Choo Choo for sure

This hotel recently had a $30 million renovation and it is exquisite. You can even stay in the Pullman cars. The beds are so comfortable, aesthetically this place is worth visiting even if you’re not staying overnight. The bathrooms are luxurious and the pool area is fantastic. You can go outside and have a drink at the caboose and enjoy live music overlooking the pool. There are so many luxurious items in this hotel from the bathrooms to the lighting, to the delicious breakfast items, and the convenience to the Electric city buses that will take you to the walking bridge or up to Warehouse row for shopping - a wonderful place to shop. Be sure to eat at Nick and Norma’s a half a block away. It’s delicious. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

I loved the aesthetic. The price was very reasonable (through *******). We drove 8 hours to be here so it was great to have a place to land and rest. The shower was especially nice and spacious. We slept in the king sized room. Check in was very easy and check out was painless. The only minor downside was having to pay for parking, but it was only $18.

While we did not stay in a repurposed train car, it was great to see these in person. Our regular room was large and had unique train decorations. The room and bathroom were very clean. We enjoyed walking around the grounds. The neighborhood has plenty of bars, restaurants and family areas just outside the hotel. It is close to I-24 if one is traveling through the city.

We absolutely love and enjoy staying at this hotel! It's just a few hours' drive from Nashville and well worth the trip. The Chattanooga Choo Choo is a beautifully preserved railroad train. The retro-style design is impressive. The bathroom is very nice with attractive tiles, and the bed is comfortable. Plus, there's good Wi-Fi and a great view of the train converted into rooms. There are many excellent bars and restaurants within walking distance in the area too!

We stayed in a train car this time. Pretty nice, about the same as a room though just smaller. Sheets were so clean. We also had a little table and chairs outside our train car. The Hotel Chalet is out home away from home. The only thing I think they could use to upgrade is to put microwaves in the room. Granted restaurants are in abundance and close, not everyone can eat a full meal and may need to heat it up later. My daughter had dental surgery and we had to go to a gas station just to get her heating packs heated up for her to put around her jaws for too there being no microwave in the room. Other than that the Stay was fantastic, most of the staff are nice and very helpful.

Absolutely a great experience! I would recommend this Hotel Chalet to anyone! The only thing that was very disappointing was the pool.... Please, clear up the water! We would have probably had a longer pool day if we could or felt like the water was clean.... Area was great but I'm not getting in water that is so merky! Staff & area is fantastic!
