Traveling from south to the north of country decided so stop off half way. The hotel is what you would expect from the travel lodge chain. A functional hotel room clean tidy well kept not really five stars but I would not expect a five star hotel on a motorway. I’ve given five stars for the excellent service. Guy Called Joe running reception answered questions I had. I had a tv issue in my room he came up sorted it straight away. Well done and Thank you Joe

Jan/Feb 2025. Wrong side of motorway for me, added about 10/20 mins to my journey going back on myself, and then 10/20 mins extra the next morning. Room 227. In a 'wing' on 2nd floor. Far away from stairs. Quiet (which was what I wanted), and mostly clean. Bathroom needed more cleaning at lower levels (view from bathtub, under loo etc).

As good a Travelodge as any, but be prepared to be woken by the fire alarm being tripped by steam from a shower ... and don't be the one not to close the bathroom door when having a shower!!!!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was nice and quiet. A perfect stopover point.

The perfect convenient and clean stop over to break up a long journey north with small children. The family room was spacious, quiet and had everything we needed. Lovely night and morning staff who were really helpful- particularly Taylor.

I've stayed here a couple of times now as a stopover on the way to Anglesey and both times I've been very pleasantly surprised. The reception staff are always friendly (I even got offered help with my bag on my most recent visit) and there is ample free parking. The rooms could do with slightly more attention to detail when it comes to cleaning but for a budget hotel, I wasn't going to complain as everything else is fab! Heater in the room pumped out enough heat to keep me warm on a particularly chilly evening and there was extra pillows, too. You wouldn't think you're a stones throw from the M6 as it's very quiet! I'll definitely continue staying here in the future - a perfect cheap room to break up a long journey! 😊

Fantastic stay, all staff are really helpful, polite and happy. The room was lovely everything was really well presented and spotless, everything you need for a nice brew in the morning. Stocked well with extra towels and pillows. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back. 😊
