This hotel is just OK. The front desk clerk was quite unfriendly when I checked in; that's never a good way to start a 6-night stay. I was assigned the room closest to the office, on the highway, and next to some old furniture on the sidewalk where people would gather and talk loudly at all hours. I had made reservations 6 or 8 months previously, for a family wedding. The rate was outrageous, nearly $200 per night. But Chelan is a serious tourist town. I had to book through hotels dot com, and interestingly, they would not allow me to leave a review just now. Opening the room door was a shock. It is small, but so filled with oversize furniture there's barely room to walk around. The wood paneling is very pretty and everything in the room other than the furniture has been upgraded. The bathroom has no vanity. There's an opening in the wall with a closet bar, but the space is filled with a microwave and a small refrigerator. There was literally no place to hang my clothes! Once I got all my things organized, the room was fine. The A/C worked perfectly, and did not cycle on and off all night to keep me awake. Very little water in the shower, but that's to be expected these days. The refrigerator worked well. The only electrical outlet I found was behind the bookcase, no USB outlets of course. I just love moving furniture to plug things in. I didn't use the microwave or the TV. Basically, the room was fine, the furniture was just too big for the space. Off-season, for a short stay, the motel would be a good choice.
