Hotell i Shuangqiao, Chengde

An attractive hotel in a former imperial complex (a library or something like that) offering large, clean rooms. It's up on the side of a hill but taxis/rideshare will take you to the front door. Also it's very close to the town center and is a short ride to the temples that are of interest in Chengde. They have a decent breakfast at the onsite restaurant, and a dinner service featuring local dishes that are supposed to be similar to what an emperor might have eaten. So you can dine like an emperor, for a fee. The large deer roaming the grounds stare at your with the big, sad eyes, obviously looking for a handout, but don't fall for it as there's plenty of grass. There was some construction going on, seems the buildings are being refurbished, but it did not really interfere with our stay. Signs in English and English-speaking staff at the front desk.

We come from Malaysia, stayed for 2 nights, thumbs up to our guide 小宇 for her exellent service and knowledge when we joined the 9.9 trip to Chengde resort. Hotel is modern and clean, staffs are very helpful. Location is good as it is near to shopping mall and some restaurant. 我们来自马来西亚，住宿2晚，参加了9.9元的避暑山庄讲解，导游小宇知识渊博，讲解的非常到位，还帮我们照相，非常感谢。酒店装修风格新颖别致，干净整洁 ，员工非常热心，酒店旁边有商场，吃饭很方便。

Hotel is very close to train station but quite far from the city. There are buses from the train ststion to the mountain resort. The room is very clean and with high tech facilities.Robot to deliver requests to the room. With the room rate charged it's very good value.

Hotel is modern and location is in the centre of Chengde. Close to all amenities and the daily night market is just a short 2 minutes walk. There is a great supermarket next door as well. Room is spacious, clean and with voice enabled room controls. Front desk is very helpful and even help us find an English/Chinese speaking tour guide. Strongly recommended to stay here.

Hotel is very centrally located near to commercial area so lots of food options. Hotel staff is very helpful. Hotel is just 15 minutes walk to countty resort scenic area and short ride to the outer temples. The room is very spacious. Our room faces the road and in the daytime it is noisy with traffic and from various announcements and music from shops along the street. But at night it is very quiet. Breakfast buffet spread is good but mainly Chinese food. Will recommend this hotel just be aware of the noise in daytime.

Brilliant location for visiting the Chengde Mountain Resort. The hotel is located just on the other side of the wall of the park and is at a quiet corner 200m from the entrance. Very convenient for an early start to avoid the crowds. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff at hotel. Room is good size and spotlessly clean. Many good local eateries within a short walking distance for excellent food at very reasonable prices

Rummet var rent och rymligt.Vi bad om rökfri behandling och rummet hade ingen röklukt.Bra sortiment av kinesiska matlagning på frukost, kommer att vara trevligt att ha fler porriga alternativ. Vi tackar särskilt för att hjälpa oss att lösa problemet.Vi tackade förstörelsepersonalen Aileen.Vi har stött på några problem som belastar vår EV och hon gick den extra milen för att lösa vårt problem.

We love this hotel. Staff were friendly and this lady: 阳阳晓明 was very friendly and helpful, giving us tips and suggestions on where to go. If you need help when booking this place, just add her. She will translate the messages you send ber using her wechat's translation app. On our first evening here we crossed the road outside the hotel and had a lovely time exploring. Nice stay for 1 night in Chengde. Great service, free parking lots, friendly and helpful staff. Room, very clean, bright with a grand view to the river. Bathroom divided in tube/shower, toilet room and make-up space. Breakfast with a great choice of Chinese food. Just a few things related with international breakfast. The hotel is located not directly to many shops and restaurants. We took a taxi to the recommended restaurants and scenic places.
