Doupi'er Apartment (Chengdu Eastern Suburb Memory)

The apartment hotel is relatively well-located, with convenient access to the metro. There are restaurants right across the street and a large shopping mall nearby, which makes it easy to find food and amenities. The room itself is situated on the 37th floor, offering a nice sense of height and perspective. However, our overall experience was disappointing. We specifically paid extra for a non-smoking room, yet the room had a strong smell of cigarettes and even included an ashtray, which was unacceptable. Additionally, the shower drainage did not function properly, causing water to accumulate, and there was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom. There was also no shelf in the shower to place personal items, which made it inconvenient to use. Cleanliness was another issue. There were insects present in the bathroom, and the room overall did not feel properly clean or well-maintained. On a positive note, we appreciated that the room included a refrigerator and a washing machine, which were useful during our stay. Overall, while the location and some amenities are good, the cleanliness and maintenance issues significantly impacted our experience.

Good location, everything was clean, nice view, you have 2 dryers in the hallway if needed, daily cleaning of the room by staff. Be warned that there are only chinese plugs. You might need to buy an adaptor. There is a convenience store that is open 24/7 at the main lobby of the building, a big mall is accessible with a 2 minutes walk, and many restaurants. It's one of the cheapest room I found on TRiP. I definitely recommend staying here. 😁☀️

It was a nice hotel stay. The room was smaller than the pictures portrayed but it was decent. The projector was nice.

The bathroom lacked a shower rack, which made it inconvenient to place toiletries such as body shampoo. Additionally, no floor towel was provided. Anyway, the overall experience was quite good, especially the location. It is within a 10 minute walk of the metro station and is very close to Dongjiao Memory, where there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The room was really clean and comfortable. The reception was very attentive. The location was also very convenient for me. Although it wasn't in the centre, you can get anywhere in half an hour by bike or metro. I recommend the bike for seeing the city😉

Very clean room and I loved the Moroccan theme and also the little window area to sit on. They were always ready to help with any questions.

This is a great place to stay , I stayed in a large one bedroom apartment with great views Chengdu apartments are such great value and Chengdu is my favourite city in China to visit unfortunately I only could stay for a few days this trip as I had to meet a friend in Beijing I plan on returning to China later on in the year and will stay in Chengdu again and explore the surrounding area I recommend this place to stay while in Chengdu

Perfect stay. The bed was so comfortable. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. The location is great, Dongjiao Memory is a really cool area to walk around, there’s plenty of restaurants and amenities, and the metro station is a few minutes away. The staff are friendly and available if you need. I will come here again when I am in Chengdu for sure!

The staff went above and beyond to help me, first to find the hotel and then helping me book things without a Chinese number (I am a foreigner). The room is also extremely good value for money, it was so useful to have a washing machine in the room.
