The Hidden House(Chengdu Taikoo Li & Hejiangting))

The Hidden House was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited. The location was perfect for us and service was perfect as well. Im sure to stay there again when I'm in Chengdu the next time. The rivers next to hotel are very romantic and there is a short walk to Chunxi road area and Taikoo Li. Lan Kwai Fong is just on the otherside of the river. The housekeeping staff did amazing job.

The hotel is very clean, modern and staff if helpful! The view is breathtaking and the commodity of laundry room is fantastic for a big trip! Definitely recommend the hotel for a lovely stay!

This place is a real hidden gem in the heart of the city. Our room was really comfortable and clean and the staff made their best to make our stay pleasant. Location is great to explore Chengdu downtown on foot or by metro. I will highly recommend

Really great service from the staff. Breakfast was really yummy too with lots of variety. The room was really zen and clean. Love the place! Not to mention the view from the rooftop.

This place is on the river, right next to the nightclub and bar areas of lan kwai fong and jiuyanqiao. They're very bustling areas late into the night every night so you will hear some bass but it's not unbearable (and I'm a light sleeper who's sensitive to noise). Also the hotel provides earplugs. The hotel is also walking distance from the shopping areas, chunxi lu, taikooli and IFS as well as some cute residential areas, scenic streets and night food streets. I booked the riverside room and the view of the bridge and river was gorgeous both day and night, just like in the picture. Overall the room was comfortable but as others have noted the building it's in is definitely shabby and the floor in the room itself could benefit from a deep clean. I was also surprised that there were no usb-a outlets and I hadn't brought a plug with me so I went to mini so and bought one for 20 yuan. But would be nice if the hotel provides that. One nice perk was the daily coffee included in my room, it was actually not bad coffee and would cost a lot to buy at a cafe. Also the foot soak tub was nice.

The hidden house is a cozy modern take on Chengdu hospitality. It boasts an inner city location near many major attractions such as Chun Xi Road and Kuan Zhai Alley. The rooms are spotless, with tasteful decor, comfortable beds along with a heavy emphasis on tea. The hallways are scented with local white tea aromas which can lead you to standing outside your door smelling the air. The staff are all incredibly friendly, with wonderful advice and recommendations. Overall a really eye opening experience .
