Somerset Riverview Chengdu

I was very satisfied with my stay this time! The service of the front desk staff Cindy was impressive. She patiently answered my questions and gave me many practical suggestions. The room was large and spacious. There was also a gym and a swimming pool. The facilities and equipment were super complete. The room had a washing machine and a refrigerator, and all the kitchenware was available. The experience was great and it deserves a five-star review!

At first, I was looking for a hotel that could accommodate four people with two bathrooms — something surprisingly hard to find. Somerset Riverview Chengdu turned out to be the perfect choice for what we needed. The room layout, convenient location, and reasonable price made it an excellent value. All the staff members were very kind, polite, and professional. Their service was excellent throughout our stay. The room was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. Although the furniture looked a little old, everything was well maintained and worked perfectly. Before coming, I read several reviews saying the breakfast wasn’t great — but honestly, it was much better than expected! There was a wide variety of dishes that changed every day, and everything tasted delicious. There were always staff downstairs ready to assist and even help operate the elevator. The elevator area always smelled fresh and pleasant. The hotel is close to convenience stores and coffee shops, and if you plan to travel elsewhere, you can easily leave your luggage at the front desk — there’s always someone on duty 24 hours a day. Overall, I was very impressed with my stay here. Somerset Riverview Chengdu truly lives up to Ascott’s standards — comfortable, well-managed, and highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at the Somerset hotel, Ms. Kelly at the front desk had been specially very kind and helpful to us, We had been requiring lots of assistance and they have wholeheartedly helped us by being patient. I really would recommend my friends and family to stay here specially when I had really good discount from Trip.com (maybe because I booked it from abroad) but nonetheless I had a wonderful time specially the elders in my family. Great view, great rooms, great amenities. Must book this hotel!

The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to the metro station, Anshun Bridge & Jinli Ancient Street. There were cute panda accessories to purchase every corner around Chengdu.Specially panda dessert ❤️ 😍.

Ac didn’t make room cold past 24 degrees. Got another room but same issue. Ended up getting a fan that helped a little but still not that great… Amenities in room ok. Receptionists are very nice. Gave us extra water which was helpful. Pool and gym are nice. Great location. Nearby lots of stuff and river walk is nice.
