The hotel has an excellent location within walking distance (an easy 25 minute stroll) of Tianfu Square, the Chengdu Museum, Chengdu Library and the Science and Technology Museum. It also has a metro station next to its entrance offering metro line 1 which takes one directly to quite a few landmarks for a mere 2 yuan. Didis and taxis are also easy to book or flag down in that location. The reception staff are generally helpful but special mention must be made of the outstanding concierge division : Cloudy and Cinderella are particularly congenial and deserve high praise. The one drawback is the breakfast room which can be very chaotic during peak hours, especially when large coach tours arrive.

Love the room, it’s extremely huge and clean, love the toiletries from Elemis as well! I’ll definitely revisit this place if I’m back to Chengdu again.

The location of the hotel is really convenient, it is easy to go shopping around. Hotel offices are very kind and helpful, they can communicate in English well.

Near the loumanshi metro which is 100m away . Easy to take Didi travel too . Good housekeeping and moderate breakfast spread . The flushing system of the toilet is so so and do take care not to throw too much paper in it .

I have stayed in Dorsett for four days. Very good location in the heart of Chengdu lots of shops, food and easy to travel. Very warm welcome by reception, good room service and helpful concierge. Clean large room, comfy bed, all necessary amenities provided. A very good bfast from western style to the noodle station . Hotel is bit dated in design but service and hard product is top notch and the staff approach is impeccable.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a modern design and all the essential amenities. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom was well-equipped. I appreciated the complimentary bottled water and reliable Wi-Fi. Overall, Dorsett Chengdu is a great choice for both business and leisure travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and good value. Dorsett Chengdu is located near Chunxi Road Metro Station and Luomashi Metro Station, but the most convenient is: 🚇 Luomashi Station (骡马市站) – Exit F Lines: Line 1 and Line 4 The hotel is just a short walk from this exit F

The hotel location is good with metro just 100m away. Got a update to bigger room with nice view and late checkout at 1400H. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights in the Dorsett Twin Room (Movies + Digital Projection). For some reason my room does not have the Digital Projection.... just a 42" Android TV. We did not take the breakfast option as there are many cheap food options beside the hotel. The BEST feature of Dorsett Chengdu is the excellent location which is just beside the Luomashi subway (Line 4), one stop away to Tianfu Square (for shopping) and KuanZhaiXiangZi Alleys. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We asked for direction for the wholesale centre and staff (Steven) recommended 荷花池批发市场. Highly recommended!
