The service was very good, everything goes through wechat, which is convenient. We only stayed two nights, and the room was clean and comfortable. We would have liked to stay longer, I recommend it!

I had a good stay at Sonderia! I booked a twin room as a solo traveler. The area is close to Wenshu Monastery and takes 10mins to the train station Line 1 but doesn't feel that far. Bus stops are just in front of the hostel too. The bar area is a great spot to chill at night and meet other tourists. Nicole at the reception was sooo nice and accommodating!! I was allowed to check out late (2pm instead of 12nn) and she even let me stay at the couch area at the bar so I can rest for an extra hour before my flight. She even bothered to lend me a comforter!! Thank you!! 🤍

Close to old town. Watch the face changing. Went to dujiangyan and sanxi dui from here. Better to grab a bus than taxi. Taxi is expensive. New Air conditioning.

Was a great stay again at Sonderia.. i came back after a year abd was agaiin amazing! Nicole at reception was great! Explained everything and gave lots of tips about chengdu.. helped me organize my trip and bookings.. very helpful! Thx to the whole team.. everyone was kind and helpfull.. location is great near subway..restaurants and everything needed😊 will sure be back

A hostel with a pretty decent social atmosphere that they invest a lot in. We got to have hotpot for free from the hosts which was very nice. There's nothing really bad to complain about and was a pretty comfy stay. The bar and cafe downstairs helps socializing and would recommend anyone from overseas to come.

M Social atmosphere is super thick Here, you can meet friends from all over the world every day. Everyone shares meals, carpools and hang out together, and share adventures and guides on the trip. In just a few days, I have made several like-minded friends, and it feels like the trip has become even more interesting. 2 The service is warm and welcoming Laura, the staff member, is warm and attentive, checking in quickly and patiently answering various questions and giving practical travel advice. Here, you can really feel the warmth of home. They are also very affordable and have a great value for money If you also like the hustle and bustle and make new friends, this youth hostel is a great choice for you!

Sonderia Hostel was the best stay of our China trip! The location is perfect—right near the old town, so you’re just steps away from all the charm. We also loved the stylish bar and the warm welcome upon arrival. A highlight was the weekly events: the HotPot and Dumpling parties, both hosted by Penny. She created such a fun and social atmosphere, making it easy to connect with other travelers. A huge thank you to Penny and Nicole! They were incredibly helpful, always around, and super friendly. Their excellent English made communication effortless. We felt so comfortable that we extended our stay. Highly recommended!

Amazing hostel, mainly due to the awesome staff and the activities organized here Staff is super friendly, soeak english very well and will always helo you with anything - no matter the importance of the matter. Rooms were fine, cleanliness could have been better though (more thorough cleaning of floors and sanitary). Still would recommend!
