Chengdu willow hotel recensioner

Great location. Food was good and staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend.

We've had an absolute pleasant transit stay in Chengdu here. You can reach the hotel with subway line 1 (coming from TFU only 1 exchange, 50 min travel time). Nice and big rooms, comfortable beds. We can definitely recommend to stay here, the Sichuan flavored breakfast was awesome.

Perfect stay for visiting Chengdu. Rooms are big, comfortable, big shower and very clean. Chinese breakfast is fabulous! And every day, from 15 to 21, you have 2 snacks included. Strategic position for move with metro. Hotel is close to Sichuan Gymnasium stop Line 3. At the front desk there are amazing people that help you in every request you make. If we come back in Chengdu, we will book there again. Thanks!

The room is fully equipped with everything you need - from shampoo to facial wash to laundry detergent! The front desk staffs are all friendly and polite and are willing to help with our needs (even helped us to upgrade our room type!). Will definitely be back if I ever visit chengdu again!

Great hotel! Excellent breakfast!

The location of the hotel is okay. It’s near the metro which can easily take you anywhere but it’s not that close to touristic areas. Inside, the hotel is quite nice and new. Our room was big and comfortable. There were some issues since when we booked the hotel, the website said that there would be spa. However, the hot spring was closed. It seems that this was an issue of trip.com and not the hotel, but the hotel was not accommodating at all. While spa is not listed as one of the amenities of the hotel, the picture of it is still up and on trip.com it says that they changed the opening times of the hot spring, not that it’s closed. We even contacted them in advance to inquire about the hot spring opening times but didn’t receive an answer. The hotel told us that we need to talk about this issue with trip.com and was extremely unhelpful. For the price we paid for this hotel, this was really disappointing. The hot spring was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel so this situation was very bothersome. Some of the furniture in the room was really nice, but for example the table was very shaky so it was really annoying to use. The toilet had a bidet which was nice but it was extremely loud. It made beeping sounds so when someone needed to use the toilet at night/morning, it can wake the other person up. The breakfast was good but it was served right next to the entrance to the hotel so it was very cold there since the door kept opening and closing. Overall, we liked the hotel but thought it was very overpriced for what it offered. Besides the hot spring issue which was very specific to us, the room was nice and clean, had many amenities, the bed was comfortable and everything worked. But the price was extremely high for what the hotel offered.

This is hands-down the best hotel that I have stayed in during my Sichuan trip. I have stayed in a total of 5 different hotels during my trip and this is the best of all as per my daughter's opinion too. The hot bath provided a much needed rest and relax leisure for the family and the room is extremely well maintained and cozy. I highly recommend this place and will definitely only book this hotel if I comes back to Chengdu again. 5-stars!

Highly recommend. Excellent hotel in excellent location. Excellent comfy bed. Laundry machine (for washing clothes) is available and free. Morning: Breakfast is delicious Afternoon: Complimentary Snacks available and are included, like Dan Dan Noodle, Won Ton, Green Tea Matcha Cake, etc. The room is spacious, clean. The hotel is located within 7 minute walk from the Metro Station (Sichuan Gymnasium). PS. Bottled water is complimentary. Overall, excellent hotel that I highly recommend.

Overall stay was ok. Cleanliness could be improved and better separation of smokers and non-smokers needed. We woke up a few times during the night to cigarette smoke smell in the room due to people smoking in the hall ways OR in the rooms with the door open to the hallway. Also the room needs a fridge.

Good staff and nice environment (Chinese Vibes). Still gift us luggage tag while checkout.
