Le Royal Méridien Chennai recensioner

Le Royal Meridien has been very disappointing, to say the least. I asked for a non-smoking room and when I checked in, it smelt of cigarette smoke. The loud noise of the elevator kept me up. I called the guest services twice to ask for help, and when there was no response, I had to go down to the lobby past midnight and complain. They assigned me a different room. The rooms are dirty, carpets are not probably not vacuumed frequently. The drapes and curtains are filthy. There were other minor issues such as a broken kettle, lamps not working properly, iffy wifi… minor irritants, but one doesn’t expect this level of shoddiness from a star hotel. I am very disappointed and I don’t think I will be returning here in the near future.

Very Poor Customer service with discrimination in handling people based on their look. We booked King size Room but given 2 single bed joined together initially with badly cleaned room . Getting frustrated after see the room… complained to reception & then they changed room in the night but again shower is not working. Around 12:30 in the night fixed the issues…. Even towels are not placed enough for the people, again requested & then provided. My frien also stayed in the same condition 2 days before, so after we complained then they changed his room also… Really frustrated how badly they managed room & service people . Last 2 days they didn’t even placed hand towel too… TV is not working… Totally bad stay . They told king size bed will be like this single bed joined together , seems they think that we looks like never stayed in any hotel before. People who comes from abroad hv this bad experience means, if any one come from local then they hv to believe what they said. They have to learn from Countries like China what is service means…. We travelled many countries, Even 3 star hotels hv very good service in other countries…. Anyway except hotel we enjoyed the Chennai trip. Really they hv to improve the service and also don’t think that people don’t know anything & need to believe what they said.  Don’t allot bad rooms / don’t do poor service based people’s look. Never expect these kind of discrimination in service in hotel. Next India visit, need to think about other hotel for stay to hv complete enjoyment 😊

Breakfast service was worst for my experiens. Because I don't have enough time so I requseted staff to give me cup of caffee to go. But staff said no, although I requested again, he just said I confirm with manager but never came answer. I never go.

Excellent people and variety food and center place in Chennai . For Al age group this place will be the best

Swimming pool not operating/ No remote for tv (when calling customer service they said some one will bring but no one came until we exit ,Free shuttle service charges a lot Restaurant food wasn’t nice for the price Not worth to visit with family

Its not a 5 star hotel. Its full dirtyness and serive is not upto the starndard. Full of mosquitoes. Even the tv didnt work and no romotes. No services. But prices high.

The hotel staffs are exceptionally helpful and courteous, from bell service and the front desk to room service and restaurant staff, all dedicated to meeting your expectations. Despite the slightly aged hotel rooms, the excellent customer service compensates for it. A warm and pleasant experience.

Had a good time and amenities and staff were really good

Very poor services, as I booked and prepaid the amount and reached hotel to check-in, the staff replied they sold out all the rooms . Then what's the purpose of advance booking and prepayment. As it was midnight, and after 2 hours of wait they allotted another poor quality of room not worth 2 stars. Very bad experience, pls avoid to stay there.

Bathroom sink, toilet flush & shower not working. Receptionist showing bad attitude

I've been there for my business trip in India, and the hotel is very decent and clean, the staffs are friendly.

Old property. Advantage is very close to airport. Rooms should hve been more clean
