A great choice. Our room was very clean and recently refurbished. I chose this hotel because it's centrally located for all the shops , with the Grosvenor Centre being just over the road. There is also a small Tesco downstairs which is very handy. I also noticed the hotel was very quiet, so had a great night's sleep too.

I always stay here when visiting Chester. Great location for a lone, older traveller. The Tesco Express next door is useful but the restaurant and bar in the hotel is perfect for solos. Great staff. very friendly and helpful

Stayed for one night. Very friendly staff,decent sized room with very comfortable bed and good shower. There was a bar for a quiet drink and the breakfast buffet was fine for hot and cold food.

Chose this Travelodge as it was close to City centre. Couldn't have been any closer ,less than a two minute walk from the beginning of the heart of Chester city centre.Handy for the River Dee ,river trips and walks and pub/restaurants.If you haven't been to Chester do go.The most beautiful and historic City I have ever seen. Absolutely amazing architecture.

Fabulous location. Great overall value. My air con wasn’t working which was especially galling for me as a terminal cancer patient I found the airless heat unbearable and so couldn’t sleep for the 4 nights.

my boyfriend left his phone in the room, and we called and annie was really helpful with getting it back and finding it for us, really enjoyed our stay, you can get uber delivered if you've come back late after a night out haha, all staff were really friendly and helpful :)

Cheap and Cheerful Sunday night. Clean, quiet, central location. All it lacked for me was somewhere to leave my luggage for the day

Really nice hotel-our room was on the 4th floor so had a decent view. A shower/bath arrangement which was novel for travelodge and a bath mat! Hurray! Air conditioning worked and was quiet, clean spacious room and two pillows each. Slept well so a pleasant experience. Only downside was the distance from hotel to parking lot and cost. £15 for overnight parking which we thought was steep.
