the room was cold during the night . also the shower sounded like it was going to take off so noisy ,also at breakfast the beans were cold and then we had just finished our breakfast and was just discussing our day we was asked if we had finished and was told she need to clean the table basically we had to get off from the table and leave which i think is poor customer service

The room and bed were very comfortable and included a microwave, fridge and kettle. As it was a deluxe a bath and shower was in the bathroom. Plenty of free car parking on site and very good location to where I was working - Chester Zoo. Breakfast was lovely and all staff from front of house through to the kitchen were very friendly. Only drawback was that breakfast did not start until 8 so not so good for people starting work at 0900hrs - would have like more time to enjoy a leisurely rather than rushed breakfast.

My room was in a lovely setting with the courtyard, it was very well presented and had everything I would need for an overnight stay, in fact I wish I had been staying longer. You thought of everything from bedside usb ports, hairdryer near the mirror, large tv, rubber slip mat for shower, nice sized towels, very warm room and heated towel rail. The breakfast in your dining room was well laid out and had everything from fruit, cereals, pastries and cooked breakfast food. Your standard of cleanliness was second to none and the useful toiletries and the selection of tea, coffee and a hot chocolate plus nibbles was very welcomed. You are such good value and your standards are very high it was a pleasure to stay.

What a great find. Lovely spacious accommodation, immaculately clean and comfortable rooms. Walking distance into the small town of Hoole and very convenient for the Birkenhead Ferry Port Would recommend and look forward to returning to Chester House

The hospitality was good however the room was absolutely freezing with no hot water over our two days. Conveniently situated for the city only five minutes by taxi. Unfortunately we Will not use again. No refund was offered for the inconvenience.

For a two day break within easy access of the City, ideal. Our quiet annexe room had been newly done to a high standard, we were even able to park the car right outside our door. Breakfast was tasty with good choices, be it cooked or continental. No problems in recommending this if you don't want the large, more formal option.

Easy pleasant check in, shown to room 8 which was large with king size bed and 2 singles, large tv, kettle with lots if drinks, biscuits. Large bathroom with walk in shower and jacuzzi bath, small bottles of toiletries supplied with large towels that were super soft. Room was lovely and warm. Lots of private parking. Breakfast was in the hotel just across the car park, small but cosy. Buffet style, only thing they ask how you want your eggs and bring them before you have finished your cereal/ fruit, good choice and tasty especially the sausages. Staff pleasant and welcoming. Lovely and clean throughout. Excellent location for restaurants and bars, about a 15-20 mins walk in to centre. Would recommend and stay here again.

Nice hotel and good location for Chester City. The room was very nice and the bathroom was new so very clean. The beds were comfy and there was adequate tea and coffee facilities. Good breakfast and choice of food. Only criticism was there was not enough tables for the demand of guests at the time but the manager did confirm they are extending dining room which was evident as there was the start of the extension. The manager that checked us in was polite and friendly letting us check in early. We had taxis to and from Chester which were cheap and arrived within 5 minutes of ordering them. We would definitely stay again if we were in Chester.
