Chia Laguna - Hotel Village recensioner

It is located in the Chia Laguna, one of the clusters of 4 and 5 stars of hotels. Beautifully managed landscapes and access to private beaches make this resort very attractive. However, it is for those who don't care about the quality of the hotel and for those who want to just sleep at night and take the most of the activities outside of the room. In terms of quality of the room, it requires lots of attention. You are most likely to enter your room through the sliding door, and then there is your bed, and there is a bathroom with a shower and toilet, bidet, and the sink. The bed is not comfortable, and there is a weird sewage smell coming from the bathroom, we had to spray our perfume and close the bathroom door, and leave the bathroom windows open. Typically, the hotel bathroom is a joy to enter, but this bathroom was one of those bathrooms that wanted to get out as fast as possible, especially with sewage smell. I had to dry my hair outside of bathroom so the sewage smell doesn't get to my hair. (Enough said) On top of our not-so-impressed experience, our neighbor left the TV on loud and party in their room until 3am, we couldn't sleep at all. Contacted the front desk at 1am, but loud noise still continued. Thank God, we only had to stay 1 night. I would have looked for another hotel if we had to stay one more night. Hotel reservations came with 2 meals, breakfast, and a dinner buffet. It was one of the worst food experiences not only in Italy but also in all the places we have ever been. At a glance, the buffet seemed fine and attractive, but as soon as we started tasting the food, we felt right away, we cannot expect much. Most of the dishes were extremely salty, lacked flavors, and the quality of each ingredient was bad compared to the dishes that we experienced in Cagliari. If you only care about the location and the beautiful beach access, this is the place for you, but if you care about all the aspects of what the resort hotel supposed to offer, it might be wise to either spend a bit more money and stay at either Curio or Conrad properties or consider different location or hotels. Hope this review helps you to decide where to stay in Chia Laguna.

From the second we arrived in Sardinia to the moment we were dropped at the airport to come home we had the most wonderful time. The transfers were easily booked before arrival and were comfortable for both journeys. The hotel was beautiful. When we arrived our room wasn't ready due to us arriving early in the morning. We were given a complimentary drink and shown to the bar. Once the room was ready we were shown up to the room and given a tour by a member of the team. The service was excellent. The room was beautiful, the views were very nice. The bed was 10/10. We were very grateful for the air con in the room as it was very hot & humid the whole time we were there. We visited each of the restaurants over the week we spent here, and we enjoyed the BBQ. The food was lovely. Shout out to Osteria la Torre where I had my favourite meal of the week. We spent each evening in the village watching the live entertainment. The work the entertainment team put in to learn all the dances and songs were commendable. Compliments to whoever made the back drops to the dancers, the videos were excellent. We enjoyed a massage in the spa and use of the sauna, emotional shower & the massage pools & jacuzzi's. The people who worked in the spa were very nice. The pools were well looked after and the pool staff were very attentive. The pool food was very nice too, although very big portions for lunch menu. We went to the beach which was easy to get to via the transport. The beach was picturesque, soft sand and clear aqua blue water which you can walk out quite far. One thing I think wasn't made 100% clear from the website was the size of Chia Laguna and that the Conrad is part of a larger complex. There is lots within the complex including shops, hairdressers, pharmacy etc.. This was a massive bonus. Overall this was a luxury holiday and it didn't let us down. Hopefully we will be back in the future

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful beaches. Rooms are lovely and stylish and cleaned at every opportunity, the beds are also very comfortable. The food is great and most importantly, the staff are so so friendly and will help in any way possible. I will definitely be going back.

We didn't stay in a room at Conrad Chia (perhaps next time) though we were able to enjoy cocktails in Bollicine and dinner in Sa Mesa. The cocktails and atmosphere were fantastic. Superb negronis, sunsets and a gentle sea breeze. Greg in particular made us very welcome. One of us is celiac and the other is vegan. The team at Sa Mesa couldn't have been kinder in making us comfortable and taking our particular needs into account. The food and wine were exquisite and added even more sparkle to our experience. We definitely hope to be back in 2025. Grazie a tutti.

This is our second stay at Conrad Chia Laguna… another delightful stay. Everything is perfect at this hotel - beautiful breakfast, selection of smoked fish is superb, amazing service (especially Mimo, what a lovely gentleman)! Monte Cogoni beach was our favorite - lots of space, beautiful warm sea, the weather is bit windy second week of September but it didn’t spoil our holiday. Great buggy service to take you to the beach and back. Sa Mesa was our favorite restaurant along with La Terrazza - paradise for seafood lovers. Pizza at the square was great too! Bollicine Bar - a couple of drinks before the dinner, (I am sure they remember us ordering Toki Mule with Nikka from the Barrel whiskey!) All team are amazing, thank you Cristian and all other team for looking after us, loved the aperetivo, delicious snacks and local wine. Room was lovely - a short scenic walk to the main building with all the restaurants, very green territory. The main highlight of this hotel is its staff - very friendly, attentive and make you feel like home! We will definitely be back next year!

I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about our stay at this resort. It’s like they have found the loveliest, friendliest, most helpful people on the planet and got them working at the Conrad. From start to finish all staff were incredible; the welcome on arrival, Martina checking us in, Marco helping with numerous queries, then all of the wait staff, with particular mention to the 2 gorgeous girls showing us to our tables. The quality of staff was mirrored in the cleaning, housekeeping team, the pool guys, the pool bar team, the golf cart drivers to the beach and the fabulous team at the beach, who couldn’t have done more for us. The resort itself is in a beautiful setting, on a hill with 360• Sardinian views. There is a separate family pool which left the Bioquam like an oasis of tranquility overlooking the lagoon, with the beach in the distance. Our junior suite was great, with a huge bathroom and garden area. The Byredo products were a treat. We had more or less unlimited water in the room and turn down in the evenings. The half board package is a must. It’s great value and a great selection of dishes. The breakfast buffet was too good!! Sardinia itself didn’t disappoint, so so beautiful. Thank you to everyone for an incredible and memorable 10 days.
