Lanna Oriental Hotel recensioner

The room is spacious and has a balcony which is convenient if you smoke. The beds are comfortable and we slept so well. The staff is really nice too. Only grouse was the heater which was inconsistent and we needed to keep adjusting the tap every few seconds to prevent being burnt by hot water or being frozen by cold water. The hotel was fully booked so our request to change a room or have an extra card was turned down.

The service is outstanding. Here is the place where we’ve received the best attention in all Southern East Asia.

In Chiang Mai old city. Within free pickup location for most one- day trips. The decorations are very traditional.

I’m not usually one to leave 1 star reviews, but this hotel is just horrible. The moment you enter the lobby you will know what a mistake booking it was as everything is so poorly maintained and dirty. I was hoping that the rooms would have something better to offer, but oh boy, I just couldn’t believe this place can ever be a 4 star hotel with all the dirty sheets and pillow covers. And I swear I went to a bathroom in the bus terminal that was cleaner than the bathroom in the room. After seeing all this we requested that they have a look for themselves and then the guy comes and changes the pillow cover as if everything else is just normal to them. See pictures to understand more what I’m talking about.

Good locatiion and breakfast. Easy to acsess to oldtown sites and restaurants.

Hotel is nice, we booked a deluxe room but would of preferred a room with a balcony, it was abit awkward to get in and out of the bathroom. The pool was nice but there is only 2 loungers. Would not recommend a cocktail from the pool, the guy has 0 idea how to make a cocktail and the one I had made me a little unwell on the evening.. it wasn't only myself, around 8 other people at the pool also did not enjoy there cocktails. But he was a vibe and is good with the customers! The hotel location is ok, but I think if I was to go to Chiang Mai again I would stay further towards the night bazaar.

The check in is fast . Unlike some of the check in need deposit.

The environment is very good, the facilities are very good, the swimming pool is also good, and the breakfast is also good. It is recommended to strengthen staff training. At 10:15 in the morning, I was woken up by the female worker to clean the room. The bathtub was full of hair from previous guests and I needed to clean it up myself. The shower was not cleaned daily. It causes siltation every time you take a shower. The towels were stained and the sheets were changed only every 7 days.

I LOVED this hotel. It was stunning, great location and the staff where amazing. Would go back here in a heart beat. Thank you

Nice, bright & comfortable room overlooking the pool (this was not the cheapest category but it was worth it). Bed was terrific. AC was good. Only negative was the breakfast. Despite paying for it as part of the booking, decided I was better off to wander down the road a short distance and paying again at the Fern Cafe (outdoor garden setting.

Location is convenient as there are various eateries located near the hotel. Check in was also fast and seamless. Housekeeping was a bit slipshod. Dirty and used cutleries from room service was left uncleared for a few days despite there was housekeeping everyday along the corridors. Taps in the bathroom were old and worn out. On the second last day of our stay, both shower and washing basin tap came off.

Everything is great. Pool, gym and room. The only issue that I had is that it is a bit noisy at nights. You can hear corridor or exterior noises easily.

The room is really stylish and gives you Oriental vibes. In the bathroom you can find all kinds of ameneties even a dental and a shaving kit. You can get a good sleep in the bed! I couldn't give the maximum score because the cleanliness offers small room for improvement but overall the stay was great! Just look at the nice pool and you can understand why!
