Shewe Wana Boutique Hotel

Shewe Wana Boutique Hotel is a true hidden gem in Chiang Mai! The staff and owner are incredibly kind and accommodating, making my stay feel so special. Its location is perfect, just a short walk from Phae Gate, yet it feels like an oasis amidst the busy streets. The enclosed rooms, lush greenery, and lovely pools create a peaceful retreat. Celebrating the New Year countdown here was magical. Highly recommend this charming hotel for its exceptional service and serene ambiance!

I was visiting Chiang May in December 2024. Hotel is excellent; very clean, nice personal, excellent location, great internet. Breakfast was beyond expectations. Definitely would recommend this hotel and I will come back again.

Very clean and well-kept hotel. But the best thing without a doubt are the workers (who I think are a family) From the moment we arrived they were very attentive to us and when we had to get up early for the excursions they made us take away breakfast. But what really surprised us was their hospitality, we were unlucky in that we experienced the worst rain in the last 10 years and Chiang Mai is completely flooded, possibly we could have missed the flight the next day since we couldn't get out but it was family broke the wall that they made throughout the afternoon to prevent water from entering their business (hotel) to take us to the airport, thus causing their entire premises to fill with water and as if that were not enough, there were about 10 hours left until our flight They took us to a 4-star airport hotel and paid for a room so we could sleep that night. The whole family got into the car and accompanied us. We will be eternally grateful since people like this are really very difficult to find in this world, we will always remember this gesture and we will try to get in touch to thank them.

We stayed in this boutique hotel for 4 nights and really enjoyed it. Kate and her colleagues at the reception were extremely helpful booking (and changing..) tours for us. On our last day they booked us a driver/ guide instantly to go to see some nice temples outside Chiangmai. Nice rooms with great service from everyone. Highly recommended!

What a lovely little boutique gem within Chiang Mai. We stayed her for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay. The team here are extremely welcoming, kind polite and thoughtful. They certainly go the extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. Everyone we spoke to were so friendly, offering advice and guidance on what to see and do. We even booked a trip through reception for Doi Inthanon, and everything ran smoothly. The rooms are a good size and comfortable, we were always greeted at our room by little geckos running around. The pool was a welcome amenity to have a little dip after a long day, and the surrounding plants were beautiful. Breakfast was included and what a great selection of tasty treats, ranging from wonderful tasty fruits to some of the best pancakes and French toast dishes we have had. The team even made sure we had coffee and food to take away with us on an early trip. This place is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants, night markets and within a reasonable walking distance of the old town. Overall, very happy with our stay here, would highly recommend.

Small boutique hotel with a huge heart, dedicated to outstanding service in every respect of hospitality. There is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant inside and we ate there for 3 nights and two lunches because the food is sublime and we are neither vegan or vegetarian but could be persuaded with food like this. Breakfast is a wonderful choice of freshly cooked western and Asian cuisine. They also organised the most terrific tours and experiences for us. Full marks to every single person who works here.
