BP Chiangmai City Hotel recensioner

This is a bedbug ridden hotel who then refused to refund. Trip.com asked me for proof of the ants as well as the bedbugs issues for 2 bookings i made of this hotel. They then approved it saying they will take care of the refund, but then back pedalled after the bedbug ridden hotel said they don't want to refund because i stayed, because my friend was staying there in another room 222. I only stayed because it would seriously affect our ittinary travel plans if i moved to a different hotel. Trip.com lowered its standards and condoned bedbug-infested hotels at the expense of its customers. I am seriously disappointed because i have used trip.com for many years. It had many flaws such as selling lounge services of lounges that did not existed; selling insurances by companies which made it virtually impossible to make clains, but this beat all of the previous flaws. This puts trip.com at the same level of the worse kind of service providers in the hospitality business: those with bedbugs. Enough said.

Nice hotel… Good place to stay.. I will come back again next time

The hotel is clean and convenient to go outside exploring the city. the receptionists are nice and friendly, supported us so much during our holiday.

Very old and dated hotel. Matrasses were extremely hard and very oncomfortable. Breakfast was terrible. On the upside, location was fine, rooms were big. For the price we paid (around €60 for 2 nights), not so expensive. Just know what you choose.

Fantastic hotel, has everything you could want and a very good price.

Pros: - Great location, quiet street - Big room - Very friendly staff☺, speak English - Clean bedsheets and towels - Everyday cleaning - You can leave your bags at the reception for a few hours before check-in and after check-out Cons: - Bad sound insulation - The bathroom needs renovation. You can still wash there, but it's not pleasant to do so. Not a bad option for the money.

Good location but everything else was pretty awful. My family couldn’t stand it and had to book a new hotel. The rooms were dirty, bathrooms have mold. The hallways were like a hunted house. The smells were awful. The walls were peeling off. Sorry but not going to come back to stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location with spacious rooms. There are restaurants nearby, making it very convenient to explore the area. I highly recommend staying here!

It's in a quiet location and the room is spacious, too. It'd be better if there are more choices for breakfast.

Being honest, photos were bit different from reality, although in the end the experience was very good and friendly, you maybe need to be prepare to an aged place. After make the check in, we went out and back until night and super tired, so we didnt check clear the room until the next day; shower head was rusty, ceiling had stains (i guess from some inner leaking) and the room felt darker (our window view was to the interiors of the hotel, so there was no natural light), so i went to the front desk and asked kindly for a chance to change the room, the women on the front desk was very kind and help us, so the next room was a bit better (same a bid aged in the floors, but better room) i got chance to enjoy the pool!!! it was super clean and fresh!! i love it!! and is a peaceful place, i really enjoy also the lobby with the chairs, so after all the experience went better, location also is easier and the team is very kind and helpful ＜3

The value of booking is good in terms of price and location. However, it is so silent and scary in this hotel as we stayed in the museum.

Hotel is unfortunately not well taken care of. They are doing maintenance so maybe in the near future will be better. Service is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious. For the price and location it is hard to find anything better in the old city.
