Chiayi Look Hotel recensioner

It's a great bang for the buck place. It is very close to all the touristy places in Chiayi. Free parking in an open space parking lot about 300 meters away on the same street as the hotel. So be aware that you must walk with your luggage back to the hotel after parking. Unless you have another person wait at the hotel first with your luggage. The staff at check-in told me if I gave a positive Google review they'd give me an upgrade to my room and I did give them a positive Google review before even seeing what the room looked like. But I was very pleased with the room upon seeing it. The whole place was clean and spacious and the window in my room was big. Free breakfast with my booking as well. I like this place for the price and I will book again if have the chance. Breakfast was great. Buffet style with lots of options but don't expect it to be a feast as it's a breakfast.

Room is big. Not say very clean but its ok. Ttje only issues is carpark is very far! 300m, 5mins walk from hotel! And during weekend there may be chance no parking lot!

15 minute walk from Chaiyi train station. 10 minute walk to the nearby Wenhua Road Night Market. Opposite to a shopping mall and quite close to a few tourist spots also. Good value for money. Room is spacious with what you need. Overall a good experience.

We got a great room with allot of space. The breakfast was also okay. And the service got all what we need. We were allowed to take the bikes into the big room.

Near to city, food centres. Spacious rooms. Comfort and quiet.

Satisfied with the room. Clean and spacious room. Hotel provides free washing machine and dryer usage. Free usage of hotel bicycle. Less than 5 min walk to a nearby shopping center. Around 10min walk to might market. Around 15min walk to Chiayi train station. If u come from Tainan, take train about 75min (slower one). High speed need to take train from tainan Station. Not worth the time.

Morning counter staff not friendly although not rude. We were waiting at the lobby for check in around 2pm. Although the room was ready, we were not informed and we waited till 3pm the stipulated time for check in. Even then, we were not called to check in. We have to asked them when can we check in, then they gave us the key. Breakfast was better then expected.

The air conditioning unit was like a centralised unit, weather was cooling outside, but we were freezing in the room. It was to the extent we had to switch it off to keep ourselves warm in the room... hope the hotel can improve on their service and cleanliness.

Unresponsive and not especially polite or service minded staff. Overly priced. Will not be staying here ever again.

Pleasant stay in Look Hotel. We got a free upgrade to a more larger room after we rated 5 stars in Google. The upgraded room is very comfy and clean. Toilet is clean, however it does not provide toilet roll but those thin tissue papers instead. Our booking included breakfast which I personally feel is quite decent as there were quite alot options (ie. Cereal, porridge, noodles, toast, mantou bun, coffee etc). The only downside is that the hotel is quite far from Chiayi train station (嘉義台鐵）, suggest to call a cab if you are with huge luggage. Walking distance from Train station to Look hotel is around 16mins.

breakfast was very good, with enough Salard and hot food. Room service was good, clean room on time. Location was good, walk to railway train station, within 15 minutes; to culture center 10 minutes; to culture Nite market 12 minutes.
