From the moment you walk in you feel like walking out. The most inhospitable front desk staff I have ever encountered. Very militant like, not a smile on their face nor a greeting when you check in. Although we were early the front office manager's stance was "check in is at 4 and not a moment earlier. You'll have to come back". There was no "let me see what can we do", no "let's see if we can get your assigned room ready for you". Nothing! The breakfast was nothing to write home about either. Carbohydrate laden, greasy, and in their "egg, bacon, cheese" sandwich the bacon barely measured an inch and was so thin that it was transparent. Their internet is slower than a turtle's pace and kept cutting out. They also don't care if the stairwells are full of sand or dirt that one could slip on. This was the case on Sunday morning and was brought to the front desk's attention. 4 hours later the sand and dirt was still there and their excuse for not cleaning it up immediately was "that is the last thing that housekeeping cleans for the day". It looks like they would rather have a lawsuit on their hands from a slip/fall because of their negligence, instead of cleaning it up immediately. The icing on the cake was when a call was received to say "we've just added $200 to your account because you've parked an "oversized" vehicle on the lot". Not even a word to say "hey I see that you'e parked your oversized vehicle on the lot. Could you please move it or we'll charge you $200". Nothing! Ironically, this morning there was a vehicle that took up 7 parking spots out front, and this evening it was parked out back and it was moved most likely after a courtesy call, but I can't say for sure and a rig that took up 3 spots. Stay for 12 nights (2 rooms for 6 nights) at roughly $300 per night is way out of whack for what you get here and I've stayed at many Comfort Inns in my 40+ years of travel. They definitely do not want your repeat business, and they won't get it.
