Thank you Justin (owner) for making us feel so welcome. The themed rooms are amazing but not overdone and Justin has paid a lot of care and attention to guest comfort including high speed internet and handy USB charging. Loved the Activities Room with its free games, complimentary tea, coffee, filtered water and much more. Highly recommend!!!!

Great place to stay! Rooms themed - fun and comfortable. Beds super comfy! Justin was a fantastic host and made our stay very enjoyable. The kids had a great time with the arcade games and games/family room. Close to great coffee shops. Will definitely stay again :)

We had no idea of the joys that awaited us as we pulled into the Acacia Motel on the eve of this year's Chinchilla Watermelon Festival. With individually themed rooms (each with a touching back story), an arcade games room with tabletop Pacman and filtered water, and a host that displays genuine care for his guests, the Acacia Motel exceeded all expectations. Justin has created a homely nook with an inviting ambience, filled with surprises!

The host met us, and took us through the checkin, then to our room which was a unique room with an amazing stand up arcade machine, which was awesome fun. The room was very comfortable and the being off the highway was quiet. A short 10’min walk into the centre and f town. Host was terrific and friendly. Had a great time.

I stayed at this motel for a week. The facilities are basic, but clean, tidy and very economical. It's off the main highway so nice and quiet. The rooms are large enough, with air-conditioning, a long bench, and a microwave oven. Free internet was included. The parking bays are large and covered. The staff are fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. It was no problem organising an early checkout. There are several eateries within a short walk of the motel including Coffee Club, Subway and KFC.

The unassuming appearance of this humble motel belies the fact that it was the most restful and accommodating stay we had in our travels. Justin is a true Innkeeper - something very rare in the business. The sensitivity and generosity with which he treated our family during our stay (which was a highly stressful personal time for us) made our experience at the Acacia Motel a comforting one. If you want to feel welcome, a stay at the Acacia, with Justin at the helm, is the only place to book in Chinchilla.

Had a great stay at Acacia Motel. Not only is the motel perfectly located within easy quick walking distance to everything, but the room was also recently refurbished, had comfortable, fresh linen and bedding, and an awesome hot shower. I had planned to arrive quite late, and Justin and Linda were so accommodating, including having the heater and light on for me when I arrived, which was a god send arriving so late after a long drive. Thank you so much Justine and Linda, I will definitley be back next time I pass through Chinchilla.
