Hotel Grande Italia recensioner

The hotel is beautiful with very modern rooms. The attached restaurant is delicious, and as a hotel guest there is a discount. The vaporetto is next to the hotel for easy transportation. Staff kindly made taxi arrangements for us for arrival and departure. A wonderful experience.

The location is splendid and Chioggia is a beautiful little town, with a real life ( go to visit the fish market ). There is few places for the cars just in front for Check-in and check-out but the public parking is quite far . And often very crowded . Going to Venice is not very easy unless you have a car . The ferry + bus ride takes 90 minutes and there are few slots late in the night. Very good service and very nice personnel at the reception. Breakfast could be better. The ham and cheese quality was average. I know San Daniele ham and real pecorino and parmigiano can be expensive but the hotel rate is not cheap either. Juices are industrial . No freshly squeezed. Not a very good choice of fruits. We had a nice and clean room under the roof and the morning view was beautiful.

Hotel nuovo ,moderno e curato . Molto pulito, personale cordiale. L'unica contestazione è il parcheggio, a pagamento anche per le moto

perfetto per visitare chioggia e l'isola di pellestrina.

Alles war perfekt mit der Ausnahme, dass zum Frühstück eine Variante bzgl verschiedener Nüsse gefehlt hat.

This hotel is beautiful! The staff is very helpful and friendly both before and during our stay. They can also arrange transport from the airport and dinner reservations. We were leaving on a cruise and they also helped with transport to the ship. They did a major surprise upgrade for us with gorgeous views. Breakfast was lovely! Do not hesitate to book this hotel!

Very friendly and competent staff and a nice and warm atmosphere in the hotel and around. A beautiful city near Venice without the stress of overtourism. Feeling like "very welcome" for a few days. Rent a bike and got to Pellestrina, specially out of main season!

Stayed here at the Grande Italia one night before our cruise which also departed out of Chioggia. Nice hotel in an excellent part of town. Right on the water and a pedestrian street right out front. Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, and nice. Room was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was very good as well.

Excellent base for exploring the Venetian area. Right next to the ferry boats. Chioggia itself is fascinating but you can go straight to the centre of Venice using a day card. The food and wine at the hotel are absolutely stunning. Very comfortable and clean room. Great staff.

My husband and I booked 2 nights at Grande Hotel Italia; and it was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Unfortunately our only full day in the lovely Chioggia was marred by a deluge. Soaked to the bone from our only brief outing; we returned to the grande comfort of our classic double room; their excellent, albeit under-staffed, dining room (we enjoyed both lunch & dinner there;) and best of all the helpful & delightfully good-humoured desk staff. Grazie mille Valeria, Giulia & Ricardo! Oh, by-the-way the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in Europe!

Very nice hotel and a great location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very nice with plenty of space. Breakfast was pretty extensive and there’s both inside and outside dining for lunch/dinner. Only negatives were that the WiFi was very slow or not working and they didn’t have AC turned on. Yes, you could open the windows, but it was mosquito season.

The hotel is right on the waterfront with a perfectly situated cafe outside. The room was lovely with his and her closets. The bed was very comfortable with good pillows. The bathroom had plenty of hot water with good water pressure. There was also in-room coffee. The breakfast room is beautiful with a lovely view of the water. The buffet is terrific. Very nice.

Me and my wife had a lovely stay at the Grande Italia, an awesome hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. I was really impressed by the care and attention paid to the food and drinks serves in this place. We had delicious meals in the restaurant, I can recommend the scallops and the crab pasta. The gym was great and I loved the idea that I could work out the kilos I gained from the great food and drinks. The rooms are gorgeous, loved the interior design. It is a special place and I will definitely be back
