We also warmly thank you for your words of appreciation towards our Gourmet Restaurant I Salotti del Patriarca! It is always a great pleasure and pride for us to hear that our welcome guests have had a nice experience during their time with us! We are sorry instead to read that our rooms were not completely to your liking. As extensively described online, however, the historic part of the hotel, called Villa, houses six beautiful rooms in typical Tuscan style, therefore with exposed beams, terracotta floors and rustic furnishings; the other wing of the hotel, the one where you stayed, houses instead rooms in noble style, with wooden parquet, silk curtains and luxurious textiles. When booking, either through our site or through external channels, all the characteristics of the different accommodations are well specified and it is therefore possible to choose, subject to remaining availability, according to one's needs and preferences. As far as breakfast is concerned, our rich and varied continental buffet is usually highly praised by our guests, we regret that it wasn’t the same for you, but we will certainly keep your opinion in mind. Lastly, with regard to your remark about the closure for weekly rest of our typical Tuscan restaurant during your stay, usually all our guests receive, both upon reservation and a few days before their arrival, a message containing all useful information about our facility, including details about our restaurants. In any case, at check-in our reception staff always offers to suggest good alternatives in the area. In conclusion, we warmly thank you again for your kind feedback and we really hope you could give our beautiful hotel a second chance in a not too distant future!

Svar från boendet: Dear itaig2014, firstly we would like to thank you for your review, we are glad you appreciated our property and our staff, we always try to do our best to help our guests in every aspects of their stay. However, saying that our beds are full of bed bugs is inappropriate. Our rooms are used and therefore cleaned daily and we never received a complain about that, it is more likely that you have had to deal with mosquitoes, habitual inhabitants of country places in summertime. We hope to welcome you again at Il Patriarca, enjoy your stay in Tuscany.
