Amazing location and view. So easy to walk around, get on metro etc. Nice to have the balcony, swing chair and bathtub (room temperature water) to enjoy the view. Kitchen a bit old, but equipped with fridge and washing machine which were useful. General cleanliness should be improved. There were black hairs and rubbish left by previous guests. Housekeeping came on request to change bins and top up drinking water and toilet paper.

Location is superb, close to everything and lots of restaurants, shops and convenience store. There was a little problem when we reached, but immediately sorted. The host was vey helpful and friendly, always checking on us.Definetly will stay here again! Recommended !

Everything from the lighting to the peaceful atmosphere made it a place you actually enjoy spending time in, not just sleeping. Overall, Xuan Xuan Chen Chen Hotel offers more than just a place to stay—it delivers a full experience. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chongqing, especially if you appreciate a good view and a well-designed, serene environment.

The hotel is easy to find. Right in front of river (real). So the river and Shangrila twin tower can be viewed clearly at the lobby. The building also Near to local store plus exotic area with stairs, buying rice, noodle, spoon, and plate is easy. But this room is 50% river view, 50% city view, it not completely facing river, but no problem, i still can enjoy the river view. The room is very clean, with sit closet and warm water always flow. auntie also come to tidy up every day makes us comfortable. The most convinient part is the Towels, they are Clean and no smell at all. Value added is Microwave. Microwave is also a must for moslem traveller like us, as for cooking rice and instant noodle for breakfast. But pay attention, you should buy an additional appliance for cooking rice in microwave, i bring it from my Country. Also you should install Wechat for communication with room reps, she helped us alot and communicate the location clearly. My suggestion for improvement in handling moslem traveller is you should add jet flush beside the toilet. This will be your value added. But its ok, we can still clean up with water on shower 😁

I enjoyed my stay here very much. It is a beautiful room and large with a lot of furniture. They also provided a microwave when I asked for it . The view over the river is very nice . It was excellent value and the service was great. The location is ok, it's a little far from the subway but you can also access the bridge by walking. The lady gave me some biscuits, when I left. If I return I will stay here again .

I stayed here for three nights and was quite happy with both the accommodation and its location. It’s just a 15-20 minute walk to the city center and offers a lovely view of the river. Check-in was smooth, and I had no trouble finding the place. The AC worked perfectly, even with 35°C outside, the apartment stayed cool and comfortable. The room also had a projector, which is a nice touch, although everything was in Chinese so I couldn’t really use it. The projector screen is massive, but once it rolled down, I couldn't figure out how to retract it. That might have been a user error though. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a great stay in Chongqing.

The room is clean but would need some deep cleaning in some parts. Your room is serviced and cleaned everyday. The bathroom and bed are very nice. Check-in process is done through wechat, don’t forget to check your messages on trip.com. The view isn’t necessarily actually on the river which was somehow disappointing even though my side’s view wasn’t too bad as well. Also it would be great if the cleaning ladies would only use the service elevator, almost missed my train because I waited 15 minutes for space in the elevator around noon.

Very nice hotel with a view Nice bathtub but in front of a building so that people can see you in the bathtub (a Little bit inconvenient) They were so nice they gave me a present as I did not get a room without a view on the building
