Jade Lion Hotel (Chongqing North Railway Station Longtou Temple)

There's hypermarket on ground floor. Other hypermarket is nearby too. walk forward is Line 3 LRT station.Turn right is line 10 LRT, can reach airport. noodle is delicious.Great hotel.

One of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed at. I’m quite sure rooms are not carefully refreshed in between stays as our floor and room furniture was littered with strands of hair. Tables have watermarks and coffee stains. Window was extremely dusty. Booked the room for 3 pax and only 2 pax amenities were provided. As room was right at the stairwell, whiffs of cigarette smoke keeps entering the room. Housekeeping cart was right outside and partially in our doorway.

Room was pretty good. Service was very good also. The taxi driver was helpful and called the hotel for me. A staff member came out to meet me and just as well as I would have struggled to find the hotel, it's located on the 8th floor of a building. The staff also took my WeChat, so they were able to provide me with information and answer my questions which was good. The breakfast for a westerner was very basic, a few more items would have been good. Also there were guys smoking at breakfast. I'm not sure what the point of a no smoking sign there is for, and yes I know this is the norm in China, but I so wish it wasn't! Checkout was at 2PM which was very convenient, however they did prematurely stop my room card from working. I had to go to reception at 1:45 to get it reinstated so I could get back in my room, so that was a tad annoying. The room as I say was good enough, but the sink was broken, no big deal, but could be fixed. I got this hotel as I missed the last train to my destination. It's a short taxi ride to Chongqing Bei station. The area outside the hotel was ok, but didn't seem to have anything particularly interesting either. Overall not unhappy with this hotel. I'd at least consider staying here again.
