Hongyadong Hotel recensioner

The hotel is above our expectation. It is linked directly to Hongyadong level 4 food street via the hotel lift (pic 1) The family room is big and clean (pic 2). We can see the bridge and the river from our room (pic 3). Happy with everything for a short 2 night stay.

Everything is perfect! Got a free upgrade to the best suite in hongyadong. I will definitely come back here again this year! :) love the automatic mahjong table as well. Highly recommended

This is the perfect place to experience Chongqing! Easy access to everywhere.

Super convenient location. Just within HONG YA DONG itself. You have the access of hotel lift to go down to level 4 shopping area (no need to squeeze with public) Chongqing is a 8D city. So… hotel lobby is actually in the 11th floor! If you are at street level (river level) it is better to take a taxi to the lobby even thou u are just below the hotel.

Our flight was delayed due to bad weather, we arrived at the hotel at 5am in the morning. With 24 hours service at the front desk, we managed to check into the hotel smoothly. But found the hotel breakfast time starts a bit too late (7am), we are not able to make it as we need to catch up on a local tour with pickup time at 6.40am. Luckily the front desk staff did assist in arranging a simple packed breakfast for us to have it on the travel bus. Thank you so much!

The hotel at good location . lobby n main entrance is at 11 floor And 4th floor can direct access to famous street The hotel is quit old but cleanest is good. there is some unhappy things happen when 1st night I check in but continue with the 2nd,3rd and 4th day everything was fine. 1st day of stay,toilet blow stuffing&Aircond not function well(felt suffocated),The funny thing is they said bring me a fan and that time outside I weather is 39’c. If I stay for 1 night is ok. But 4 night is not a good idea to accept.so they change room for us and the new room Aircond& the toilet bowl function well.

Location generally is good, near to tourist spots. However not easy to get to public transport (e.g. metro stations), especially with elderly along. Cleanliness is okay… room sound proofing is extremely bad.

Location convenient for free independent travel, nearby restaurants and sightseeing destinations.

We are a pair of 70 year old couple travelling solo. This place is located centrally and it is easy to walk and travel around the Chong qing City from here.The place is really comfortable and smack of chinese tradtion and culture. The view of the river each night is stunning and you are a part of Hongyadong light up each night. I woke up thrice very early around 4am and went to the reception to ask about how to get around to different sights. On 5th and 6th Sep morning, the receptionist was utterly sweet and patient with this old lady, giving very careful and detailed information with explanations to help me. Thsnk you once again dear sweet recetionist. I am sorry u do not know your nsme. Hence the dates. Unfortunately on the morning of 7th Sep i encountered a rude shock of a receptionist who expressed rude mannerism on being awakened just before 5 am, reluctant to help, trying to push me off by pushing a tiny pamphlet that she said was self explanatory about diections for various sights. I declined saying i could not read chinese. Thereafter, it wa either, its difficult to get there or you could get there in a cab!

Front desk service was wonderful and very helpful through English to Chinese phone translation. Breakfast and location was wonderful. Rooms are clean. Hotel is a lttle worn due to age (but in good shape),
