Chongqing Shancheng Courtyard Youth Hostel (Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street Development Building)

That wasn't a hostel at all (not for travellers or tourists). The foto on Trip.com or on Ctrip aren't updated (maybe they are from 10 years ago) There are no directions or signals from outside and there is no reception (see photo 1). The cleanliness conditions were really bad, with dust, cigarettes and trash everywhere. The service was poor as well, at the beginning they told me they don't have free places anymore, but then magically appears one: an already used bed, without clean blankets or cleaning. In the room other people smoked. There was only one bathroom for all the rooms, it was really poor and dirty and it didn't even have a real shower. Maybe this place could be ok for Chinese people, but I don't recommend it to any foreigners and tourists.

It's the worst. First of all, I had a fight with the host about overbooking. This hostel doesn't have a front desk, so someone else happened to find a host and brought me there, but I waited until then. And even though it was overbooked, there was no apology. I protested and was shown to a bed, but I was shown to a very dirty room. The photos introducing the hostel are completely different. And from the moment I entered the hostel, I could smell various things. Cigarettes, body odor ,sewage, toilet.There is only one toilet and shower for more than 20 people, it is very dirty, and the lock is broken.

Wouldn’t stay again the bed was like sleeping on a park bench and the hostel was like a homeless shelter… definitely go a hotel over this place I only stayed the 1 night it also was very very hot no air conditioner

Content de mes 3 premières nuits et tellement de choses à voir à Chonpqing que j'ai prolongé mon séjour de 2 nuits Mais mon retour sur Shanghai m'a fait partir par train de nuit et annulé la 5ème nuit Mon commentaire pour cette 4ème nuit est donc le même que pour les 3 premières à savoir : J'ai très bien noté ce logement car à 2 euros la nuit on ne peut pas trouver meilleur rapport qualité prix Un lit pour dormir et de l'eau chaude pour se laver. Le minimum nécessaire est présent Il n'y a évidemment pas de brosses à dents, de dentifrice, de peigne et chaussons jetables A ce prix, il ne faut pas hésiter à se retrousser les manches pour garder les lieux propres. Il ne faut pas attendre la femme de ménage pour le faire J'ai apprécié le calme des jeunes présents dans le dortoir bien occupés avec leur téléphone portable Logement au 18ème étage d'un immeuble qui en compte 29 Porte toujours ouverte de l'immeuble avec accueil mais ne s'occupe pas de cet étage A mon arrivée à l'étage, un jeune est allé chercher le responsable est tout s'est bien passé
