The staff were super helpful, they upgraded our room to a deluxe suite for free. Housekeeping is always done when you are away so you don't even see them.

Amazing stay at ascott Chongqing! The Location is amazing, sort friendly and professional staff! I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible service provided by Orange. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure our family stay was perfect, especially in helping me organize dinner venues and party places for my family. Amazing views from the room, this girl is located right above a shopping mall! We will be back! Amazing Chongqing❤️!

Excellent service, Strategic Location near many attractions and food places

Excellent location. Fantastic view and amazing dron performance show at night. Convenient for tourist and shopping. Breakfast was delicious. Good service by friendly and helpful staff. Helped us to arrange our tour to Wulong Karst region - we will stay again in this hotel in Chongqing.

Fantastic location, right at the iconic Chaotianmen. It is located at the same complex as the huge Raffles City mall, and only a stone's throw away from the famous Hongya Caves and river cruise piers. There is also a metro station here that is well-connected to other lines. In fact, we can see the famous confluence of the two rivers from the balcony right outside the hotel lobby. When we checked in, we were given a free upgrade. The rooms were clean, well-equipped, and the bed mattresses were firm and comfortable, providing a good night's rest after a long day of walking. The service was excellent throughout and the service staff went the extra mile to help plan our sightseeing itinerary, purchase the cruise tickets and provide local dining options. Definitely a great recommendation for families and first time visitors to Chongqing! A shout out to the concierge staff Orange and the porter Jack for their vibrant attitude and eagerness to assist the guests!

This is a lovely hotel. Actually I was given an upgrade that was very much appreciated. I marked the hotel low on amenities because the WiFi was as good as useless; I had to send voice messages to my wife because voice was terrible. And in addition I missed not having a drinks bar & snack for the evening. Oh one last thing, I wanted to use the pool but was told I need a swimming cap; I have very little hair & couldn’t be bothered looking for one in the shopping malls. On a very very positive note, when leaving I had a problem book a DD taxi through Alipay. Zoe on reception was attentive & even paid on her account (her paid her cash) to get me going & on time for a booked train. David Li working as the guests arrived & left was super helpful too Actually I found that all Chinese people I had contact with were helpful

Great Stay for Families and Elderly – Spacious, Clean & Convenient We had a wonderful stay at Ascott Raffles City Chongqing. The location is excellent—conveniently close to major attractions with beautiful views of the river and city. We stayed in a 3-room apartment, which was perfect for our family, including elderly members. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities like an in-room washing machine and coffee maker. It made our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Breakfast was decent with a good variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful from check-in to assisting with any enquiries. Highly recommended for families and elderly travelers looking for comfort, space, and a great location in Chongqing.

Great value for money, location is excellent (close to metro and in walking distance to a few notable places), suites are clean and quite spacious, well designed and equipped with washing/drying machinery and full kitchen, however the range of personal hygiene products and food options could be improved, but generally I would recommend the hotel for families, it is worth mentioning that staff is friendly and can communicate in English

Best customer services experiences especially with Yolanda in Lobby. Variety of breakfast and great location. Just next to raffles city shopping and train station.

Good trip and excellent location walkable and lively place with shopping mall

The date I arrived at Chongqing was May 18th n v bumped into a drone show organized by the Municipal Government at around 930pm. The show was superb n amazing n v will talk about it for years.

Pros: The location is good, the check-in process was easy, the staff attitude is nice, the room was clean and spacious, the amenities are okay, and breakfast is superb. Cons: If you get a higher room, your ears will be slightly uncomfortable when you go up and down the elevator.
