Great Stay for Families and Elderly – Spacious, Clean & Convenient We had a wonderful stay at Ascott Raffles City Chongqing. The location is excellent—conveniently close to major attractions with beautiful views of the river and city. We stayed in a 3-room apartment, which was perfect for our family, including elderly members. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities like an in-room washing machine and coffee maker. It made our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Breakfast was decent with a good variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful from check-in to assisting with any enquiries. Highly recommended for families and elderly travelers looking for comfort, space, and a great location in Chongqing.

Great value for money, location is excellent (close to metro and in walking distance to a few notable places), suites are clean and quite spacious, well designed and equipped with washing/drying machinery and full kitchen, however the range of personal hygiene products and food options could be improved, but generally I would recommend the hotel for families, it is worth mentioning that staff is friendly and can communicate in English

Best customer services experiences especially with Yolanda in Lobby. Variety of breakfast and great location. Just next to raffles city shopping and train station.

The date I arrived at Chongqing was May 18th n v bumped into a drone show organized by the Municipal Government at around 930pm. The show was superb n amazing n v will talk about it for years.

Pros: The location is good, the check-in process was easy, the staff attitude is nice, the room was clean and spacious, the amenities are okay, and breakfast is superb. Cons: If you get a higher room, your ears will be slightly uncomfortable when you go up and down the elevator.

Had a great time staying here. Really comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again if I was in Chongqing.

Really enjoyed the stayed. Price is very affordable for the location. Got the excercutive room with living room and small kitchen, room is big, cosy, comfortable, clean and comes with a very nice view of the river, city. Breakfast is normal but it has the necessary varaity. Special shout out to front desk staff of the shift 小余 and echo for the great service and arrangement. Will come back to stay again

It was an excellent stay for us ... location is perfect, near to metro station, ferry cruise terminal, shopping, food, etc ... The hotel breakfast selection was perfect ... and we like the idea that they also serve free porridge and soup in the evening for guests ... the room was clean and the bath soak was great .. toiletries is complete ... we like that our spacious room also come with a full kitchen facilities The staff service was excellent and we will definitely come back to stay here for out Chongqing trip ...

Great central location with access to Raffles City and its multitude of food choices. Clean and modern rooms with great views. Concierge David Li is very helpful. Staff are all helpful and polite. Breakfast is not bad , more suitable for the Chinese palate.

We only stayed for one night before our Three Gorges Cruise but it turned out to be surprisingly pleasant.  Easy checkin, friendly staff, clean rooms and we appreciated the facilities provided the the apartment.  Location was great too!

Very nice place. Beside a Big Mall but no Nearby Grocery or Supermarket. Overall it was a great stay. Get the 2 bedroom suite

No elite recognition for Platinum status, late check out till 3pm not awarded as they mentioned it was full. No upgrade either when requested. Was assigned low floor, level 28 and the starting floors was 24. Came in and found a bunch of hair on the kitchen floor. Some weird brown things on the bath robe in the toilet. Wardrobe door light didn't go off when closed. Bathtub drain hole is difficult to turn and is misaligned causing it to drain when closed. Rectifications were done when mentioned to the front desk, except the tub drain hole which was iffy. Breakfast at 9.30am was peak crowd and even had to wait to get a seat. The breakfast place is definitely too small for the amount of rooms they have. Food is more towards the south east Asian taste which was good for the elderies. The daily supper porridge is a nice touch. Location is decent. 10-15 min didi to Jiefangbei and chaotianmen pier is within walking distance. Housekeeping daily was great with the towel replacement and water.

This was an amazing hotel with the best quality service. From the moment we arrived Baron (Li Jiang) helped with all of our bags and made sure we knew where everything was from the shopping centre the hotel is attached to, to the metro station. The location of the hotel is unrivaled and the rooms are very spacious. We stayed in the deluxe king double room which was ideal for two couples. It was equipped with a kitchen and two bathrooms. A washing machine and a tumble dryer. All of the staff spoke reasonably good English and getting around was not any trouble at all with their guidance. 10/10. Again a special thank you to Baron who made us and my parents feel so welcome when returning.

We travelled as a family of 4 and booked the 2 bedroom apartment. We enjoyed our 5 nights stay at Ascott Raffles City Chongqing. 1. Location was ideal. Connected on the metro Line 1. Plenty of shops and restaurants within the mall. Ascotts is connected to the mall via Entrance 12. 2. Room is spacious for 4 adults. Daily housekeeping and they are generous to provide more drinking water for us throughout the stay. 3. Amenities: There is the pool and gym. Looks good. 4. Food: Daily breakfast included. Good assortment of local and western fare. In addition, there is supper provided for those who are keen. 5. Lastly, I want to comment on the helpful staff and the genuine great service provided. We arrived on 9 Mar Sun night. After check-in, we decided to go into the mall for dinner. The bellhop/porter at level 1 was very nice. Noted that it was already 920pm. He informed us that the mall entrance 12 will closed at 10pm. To return back to hotel, we would have to use other exit. Instead of just giving us instructions, he made the extra effort to walk with us to enter the mall using another entrance (which will be open when the mall closes).  Really appreciate his great services.
