Chongqing Ting high altitude riverview hotel

Amazing! Beautiful view! From the but hub you can see a wonderful skyline.

This was our best hotel in the city and we stayed in 3! From the moment we arrived 静静和小陈[愉快] checked the room with us to ensure no smoke smells were present as we strongly dislike smoking in the room. The room we were given was an upgrade too. They also helped us order food as we couldn’t use the Chinese app without a phone number. The bed was so comfortable and the showers hot and powerful. Bright light rooms with amazing views of the city. Would stay here again and highly recommend. We also stayed floor 61 in the nova hotel and this was soooo much better than there.

I booked room 180 degrees with a view, well, the view was not 180 and with a crane on front. Since we had a long arrival trip we fell asleep as soon as we arrived and did not bother to ask for the room with the view. Bed super comfortable and huge. Nice mattress and pillows. The design? I guess too much design and half of it is worn out, broken or not functional like the curtains, no painting at the wall, screws where they were hanging are at the wall. They threw away the bathroom slippers every day and placed new ones- what a waste. Very difficult to find in addition since it's in a huge building. It says Metro station 160 m away, so we were walking a bit but the station is directly in front of the building which is one of the tallest. It would be helpful to add a simple picture of the highrise on the booking platform instead of fancy videos of the city itself. Reception staff was friendly, but no word of English but that's alright, no complaint. Carpets in public areas are very dirty. Internet is spotty. Light system in room pretty confusing but fancy. Bathtub directly at window, windows are clear, so everyone can look inside... So you either bath in the dark or close the curtain or you don't care....

The WiFi had very little connection, very little reception aswell, dirty flooring outside and smelt like cigarettes. Power outlets were loose and did not provide good power. One curtain did not shut. No hot water in shower and the shower head was at my chest level.

The location of the hotel was great. Right next to the subway, the Cable Car and walking distance to the Central Walking Street. Check In as a Foreigner was easy. The Room itself was nice enough for the amount i paid. Really spacious and everything one could need was there.

We have a great stay in this hotel. Except there is some smoking smells at the lobby and room.
